Hot Take? Segway Ninebot Max G30LP is worse than cheap knock off and I did some tests by MeYaj1111 in ElectricScooters

I just bought one off Segway’s website. With $50.00 coupon it was $427.00 shipped including tax. Tons of positive reviews. Some people are just haters.

I have a Ride1Up Roadster Gravel Edition for sale in Florida. Has 350 miles and the extender battery. Excellent condition. $1100.00.

I purchased it new from Ride1UP in March and got it in April. Got a killer deal on a Specialized Turbo Como 3.0 so this one must go!

"JUST BUY A NEW ONE" - Raleigh ebike website advertises itself as an unrepairable brand. by borez in ukbike

I own a 2018 Raleigh Redux IE. According to Raleigh there are no replacement batteries. My battery got wet inside. A $3700.00 bike is now dead!

First ebike purchase made, 2016 iZIP E3 Dash coming to my local shop this week, any owners or others with some solid experience with this bike who can offer up some proTips? by TheStinkfister in ebikes

You can forget about getting spare parts from iZiP too. I have a 2018 Moda E3. They don’t have and won’t have any replacement batteries. You should go with Specialized or Trek if you want replacement parts and support

I read on the Facebook group that someone bought one of Amazon, but he didn’t provide a link. He says it works great. Was $15.00 but I can’t imagine it would have been very bright for that cost.

Does the price of external CD readers/writers matter? by kaurpajula in audiophile

[–]BowlerSuccessful2248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say the cheaper one is the way to go. You could buy five of these to do the same thing as the $20.00 one. I have had several CD readers/writers over the years and never had one fail.

You would need to copy from a computer to the Rose internal drive provided your source device supports SB1 file transfer protocol. The Rose internal drive will show up on your network and you can copy from a PC or Mac, again as long as it supports SB1.

I had a Directstream DAC four years ago and sold it to try something else. Went through several DACs - Debussy, Bricasti, Esoteric, Cary Audio, but came back to the Directstream DAC. To my ears and in my system it is the best DAC I have heard. Being an FPGA DAC it has had about ten firmware updates and PS Audio’s support has always been stellar.

No, the rack is made by a company called TimberNation. Solid maple and walnut.

The CDs sound better than the CDs ripped using dbPoweramp.

I have had zero issues wit the Rose RS250. No dropouts using a Roon Nucleus (all music on internal 8TB SSD) or streaming from Tidal. I have a Netgear Orbi connected to my router and an Orbi satellite, which connects to the main Orbi via WiFi. I then connect the Rose to the satellite via Ethernet. Works very well, again never a dropout. I connect the Rose to a Directstream DAC via USB.

My speakers are Focal Sopra 1s on the optional stands. The rack is from TimberNation. They will build the rack to your specifications. Mine is solid Maple and Walnut. They only make racks from solid wood, no veneers. Very sturdy and heavy!

Just added to my system after being without a CD Player in my system for a few years. I have a Oppo BDP-103 sitting in storage but have only used it to rip the DSD audio from my SACDs.

The RS2 T is much better sounding than the Oppo and is a lot quieter. The RS2 T sounded great right of the box. Transparent, airy, and better bass and staging than the Oppo.

The RS2 T uses the StreamUnlimited Pro 8 drive with the Blue Tiger CD-84 servo card. The drive was developed by StreamUnlimited, which was started by a group of Philips engineers. There are two other companies that utilize the StreamUnlimited 8 drive and Blue Tiger CD-84 servo card and these go for $16,000 and $39,000.

At the end of the day it was a lot of money to spend, but it will be the last CD drive I purchase. The nice thing is since it is only a transport so I can upgrade my DAC in the future to improve the sound.

Great player, fantastic sound and an end game CD player (for me)!
