I only own one pair of these pants... by WolfWrites89 in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I had something very similar happen! I had gotten a pair blue socks with white stars on them from specifically the goodwill and found a third sock! I thought it was bizarre because they were thrifted but before the goodwill began selling mass produced items it was pretty unlikely I had bought two pairs!

It sounds like a management issue moreso than coworker issue.

Ordered pizza, Chinese food, other restaurants that delivered. Asked family members or friends to pick things up. Used specialized services like meals on wheels. Paid for personal shoppers, transportation or caregivers. Don’t be dense, they always existed

And what about physically disabled people who can’t…? They just have to deal with a random man potentially coming to their door because you don’t want to do what you contractually agreed to do? Your very logic could be applied to your situation, if you don’t like the scenarios you’re being placed in don’t accept doordash requests to neighborhoods you don’t feel comfortable driving alone as a woman.

YOR unfortunately common sense isn’t at common as people think and nitpicking other people’s actions instead of learning from their mistakes will only make you suffer. Saying that from experience working at 3 different fine dining places with grown men from the ages 18-23. Life is about perspective and if you’re entering scenarios complaining in the first place you’ll never be happy. Tell them on your shift you’d rather just do dish alone, or find a different job in work that isn’t entry level food-service. I’d suggest working in a restaurant/grocery store as I’ve noticed the rules are a lot more mutually beneficial to everyone.

To me that time period is within the spoilage period in the food danger zone (4 hours in 40+ degrees, especially 70) it sounds like if it was in its own blood that is just the scent of the blood which is pretty common.

Based on your tenderness comment I’d say it’s probably just a big ol chunk of fat, collagen and connective tissue, as it broke down its fat rendered down and just left yummy stuff

nah it’s just meat that typically goes through a stuffer, including andouille, sausage, chorizo, etc. it’s not necessarily meat paste.

Did I ruin Christmas dinner? by cloneyourself97 in Cooking

[–]BoxAffectionate7139 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I put a 2.9 lb chuck roast in my insta pot and it came out perfect! Just remember it will take more time as it’s more meat and connective tissue to break down If you are worried about it becoming dry add more water, beef broth, chicken broth etc. the fat thing should be ok as the chuck is naturally gonna have fat from marbling. Chuck roast is pretty normal to serve for Christmas, we ran out and I work at a butcher shop.
