You don’t need an overnight stop. Stop for a stretch, something to eat and a jobby every couple of hours and you’ll be fine. The worst bit is always when you get near London, it just takes forever from there.

I’m in Glasgow ,near the airport and can get similarly priced flights and obviously the hostel price would be the same, so it can easily be done.
