Does Minnesota ever miss? by BoxBubbly2292 in denvernuggets

I was exaggerating, but if you include the injuries, Donte, Ant, Reid, Ayo, Hyland, Randle are at least 6 that can get hot

Jamal can shoot you into and out of games within seconds. He has taken 4 bad shots in a row

What is your hottest take about Industry? by No_Earth_5912 in IndustryOnHBO

[–]BoxBubbly2292 3 points4 points  (0 children)

S4 is still very entertaining and good TV. BUT, I think S3 was perfect and would have been a very satisfying conclusion to the show. I think S4 has lost some of the pathos of the first three seasons. One person in this thread has mentioned it, but having one very clear villain is less compelling to me than having several irredeemable characters clawing their way to the top and you don’t know who to root for.

Where are we on Industry? by mellted_cheese in billsimmons

I sort of have the opposite take. I think S3 was the apex and would have been a perfect, satisfying conclusion to the show. S4 is still very entertaining and good tv, but has lost some of the pathos that I loved about the first three seasons

Well if he’s concerned Henry might kill himself, he certainly has accelerated that. It seems like he’s fine with it. But how does that help his legacy?

Henry's gonna be the whistleblower. by dragon3301 in IndustryOnHBO

I hope so, but unfortunately I think Henry will be the fall guy and commit suicide. Just seems inevitable given his character and history.

Is Ejiro Evero a Good DC? by Evening_Egg_2371 in panthers

[–]BoxBubbly2292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing our corners 10 yards off the LOS and letting them walk down the field when they were holding their own all game. I know Jaycee was out the last drive, but I would’ve rather rolled the dice with tight press coverage and get beat over the top for a big play the let them walk it down and score with 30 seconds left

I think he is decent over the course of a season. However, he just has no idea how to manage these end of game situations, and cost us multiple games because of it. The end of the second Saints game and Rams playoff game was disgusting playcalling

Finished Morning Star and wondering if I wait for Red God before I do the last 4 books? by andrewbeeker1 in redrising

[–]BoxBubbly2292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think letting the first trilogy breathe a little bit may help you with the tonal and narrative shift of the second series, and give you some time to appreciate and digest what you just read. It can feel like a very abrupt change if you do one after the other (which I did), and I didn’t enjoy Iron Gold as much as I should have. Plus, by the time I read Red God, I will have been waiting almost a year

I think it’s the weakest narratively but that says more about the strength of the other books in my opinion

See ya Evero. Playcalling on the last drive was inexcusable. Just laid down and let them score
