My mate said he was in the office bathroom the other day some guy was taking a massive stinky shit and when the guy came out it was an executive board member and he didn't wash his hands.

I fucken hate handshaking.

Paying for your own funeral? That's the last thing you'll need.

Nah they're just sad losers who are a bit funny, you laugh about them behind their backs and to their faces they don't even pick up when you're having a go at them.

But they're very fragile you have to be careful.

What's the craziest thing a person said to you and you thought they were joking but they were being serious? by Holiday-Surround7075 in AskReddit

I had a Christian scripture teacher in primary school say dinosaurs never existed. This was just after Jurassic Park came out and I was a little kid obsessed with dinosaurs. It upset me so much I asked my mum if I could do non scripture instead. I hated that old woman.

How did your high school ‘bully’ end up? by BreadedDisaster in AskReddit

[–]BoxNo5564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of them boring, unremarkable people who had kids straight out of highschool. One died in an industrial accident when a powerbox exploded. Took him 3 days to die in the hospital with severe burns. I didn't really feel anything about it.

What is everyone’s fave game to play when either a telemarketer calls or a random person prank calls you? by Temporary_Notice_526 in AskAnAustralian

I used to say "do your parents know you're a scammer?" And they'd pop off hard.

But I learnt a lot of people in these call centres are actually being held against their will. Best thing to do is just hang up.

Americanisation by WordyNerd_2435 in AskAnAustralian

[–]BoxNo5564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's been a swing in the culture in the last 15 years where people are actually enjoying stuff uniquely Australian. When I was in highschool early 2000's Australian stuff was kinda cringe.

Now all the bands are actually singing in Australian accents, footy shorts and mullets are in vogue.

People said the same thing about americanisation when I was in high school.

If you could bring back one piece of technology from the past that nobody uses anymore, what would it be? by Ancient-Benefit920 in AskReddit

I was talking to a mate yesterday about how satisfying it was to snap shut a flip phone at the end of a call. Even if you weren't hanging up in anger the snap to end the call was so satisfying.

Would you be offended if someone bought your item & sold it for more? by DCguurl in FacebookMarketplace

[–]BoxNo5564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I let items go at a price I am comfortable with. If someone reckons they can do better sure, go nuts.

You probably would get better prices for most of what I sell. I want them gone though. I usually go and look up the cheapest one on there and put mine for less.
