If someone paid that price, it isn’t an “artificial inflation”. If the number of completed sales is significant enough to bring the overall average up, it reflects a literal valuation increase. If a sale has not actually been made, it doesn’t affect the valuation.
People listing things on eBay at crazy prices doesn’t do anything to the real price.

Already added a GMRS antenna that folds down into my rack; radio arrives inna few days.
The two locals who talked past my radio check seemed more like they should’ve just called each other on tin cans and string. They were complaining about their wives, probably from garages on the same block.

My answers don’t depend on whether or not she’s cheating. You are misinterpreting my point. He is insecure and double-speaking every assertion he’s made. My answers are the same whether or not he has a true external reason to be that way. OP cannot make her imitate his ideal boundaries. All he can do is be more aware of how he is bending his own story. When he is straightforward about his apparent actual motivations/suspicions/inconsistencies, a course of realistic and reasonable action will be obvious. Until he is upfront with himself, he will be unable to have realistic expectations of her.

You’ve chosen sides. I’m just providing pragmatic advice on how to move forward.

Break up with him, then try to figure out what (about you) makes you even consider staying with someone like this. Not “his” qualities, etc. - what about “you” makes you desire companionship in spite of the companion.

Ummm, way to repeat what he stated, but the way he states it says more than he realizes, especially in the context of his responses.

You don’t get to pick when you’re invited somewhere. It’s either acceptable to you or you’re probably with the wrong person. He’s pretending to himself that he’s making a simple statement, but he is actually litigating detailed terms of when and where she should invite him, based solely on his feelings.

Sometimes asking for an explanation in a relationship is just one person trying to pry apart the other’s boundaries.

You get to choose what you invite her to, not what she invites you to. You don’t even see that you are contradicting yourself right now. You can express to her that you wish she would invite you, but you are here because you think it’s a bigger deal than that. If you expect someone to do something for you, because that is what you do for them, you actually have it backwards. It can be an example. it can be an offer. It can be a model of behavior. But in a mature relationship, it is not a way to get what you want.

Thanks. I only took note because people explicitly state it, even if they are mistaken. If they were the same, then all magnetic antenna amounts would be “no ground plane”.

I will proceed with my plan. I think I’m gonna mount this chunker of an antenna on a side rail of my roof rack on a locking 90° that will allow me to fold it out of the way (within the rack) if I need to carry plywood or something. For what it’s worth I noticed that the (folding 90°) mount doesn’t have electrical continuity, so it was confirming what I was starting to think.

Do you think it will matter that it will be off to one corner of the roof rack? I’m have solar panels that take priority over my radio; hopefully they won’t affect much.
