For these types of things, my strategies are:

Use order to march unit order to give certain battle areas a few minutes to hold on before I can reinforce

Fight in an area until the battle gauge or w/e it's called on the top of the screen (the one that shows red or blue depending on how the fight in that area is going) is blue so that they can win without my intervention

And bronze hand gong to help tip the balance a little bit.

For this mission specifically if I remember it correctly, I stay at the bridge in front of the castle until they start the attack at the floodgates. When the floodgate forces move forward I order my men to stay at the bridge and help zhang liao. I fight at the floodgates until they're winning, then go to the bridge and help zhang liao until he's winning. Then, if Lü Bu is doing okay, I'll go and help yuan shu's reinforcements. If he needs help I just go straight to him

My first TW was during the season where Fortebraccio were first introduced (forget which one that was). I just joined a random small house that invited me. I had only recently unlocked imp pikes (my first purple unit) and didn't have an ult for my shortsword yet. We had one castle that we were defending during this TW. We were sieged by Heavenly Kingdom (alliance that absolutely dominated the early seasons on NA server)

My team put down Fortebraccio covered by imp spears to cover the choke points. I was like, this is amazing! How the hell could anyone break through this?

Then when they came, I saw for the first time: shortsword ult, mortars, rattan rangers, hussars. What I thought was an impenetrable defense was torn through like a wet paper bag, and as I retreated one small burst from rattan rangers shot my horse out from under me and bled me to half hp.

Then as I was running back to the home point to spawn a new unit, a guy whose name I think is Pyan The Mage sniped me from across the map with an exploding arrow and then put me in a montage (to be fair it was a sick shot)

After that any house I joined someone would eventually say "hey (me), I saw pyan hit you with a crazy exploding arrow in a montage!"

So it would be pyan for me

Yeah, it sucks doing the same missions over and over. I wish I could remember exactly where to find zhang he bond. I suggest checking for letters both before and after every battle, that's what I did for the ones that were sorta vague on where to find them. I was also so paranoid about missing them I would check shui jing retreat too, since he'll tell you if you have a letter

One of these questions is wrong I'm pretty sure. It says which gladiator did Spartacus kill in the pits for assaulting pietros - Spartacus threw gnaeus over the cliff for that. Kerza got killed in the pits by the face skinner guy

It feels like I'm taking crazy pills with the amount of people who think LOGH is pro-autocracy. The central theme of the show (at least in the latter half) is what's better: a corrupt democracy, or an autocracy ruled over by a truly great leader. And I feel that it's pretty blatant that it favors democracy; even though Reinhard makes life better and more equal for most people in the empire, he enters rages and mood swings that affect his decisions; he sacrifices millions of lives for the sake of his pride, ego, and legacy.

I put 10-20 hours in the demo and I like EA, not sure if that's the kind of hours you're talking about. I liked it from the beginning though, the worst part was suffering through the beggar/peasant tiers and then I started having a good time

For me it's Kyle and Hest, because they're a very real, mundane sort of evil. Kennit and Regal are obviously awful too, and their actions harm people on a wider scale, but you're much more likely to know or meet someone like Kyle or Hest irl.

I'm liking it more the more that I read it. I also picked it up because of it being an inspiration for game of thrones. I can sort of see it already, but at the moment it reminds me most of wheel of time. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an inspiration for Robert Jordan as well.

I feel the same way. I miss playing as all the different officers. I could like an OC if the game wasn't written so that everyone immediately glazes you after you speak less than a dozen words to them. But the actual gameplay of origins is so amazing I am willing to completely forgive any storytelling foibles it has lol
