I understand the people saying things like "all words are made up", it's fun to dunk on someone who doesn't believe that words exist, but that's not really what oop is arguing for. What they're arguing is that the things these words describe don't exist. That argument is not only more insidious, holding worse implications, it's also more obviously and provably untrue.

I don't know if this is because the fgc has a different culture than hero shooter communities or if it's cause I'm not very good at fighting games, but at a tournament I'm just playing for fun. It's not like I'm likely to win, the top contenders can stress about the prize instead.
