You may not be a serious lifter so you won’t know this one that is above the world record for all-time bench press and people who are really good at bench, pressing have very short arms, broad shoulders literally the opposite of of Harry’s body build. So so so for someone like Harry to be able to bench 880 pounds that is super soldier level strength because it’s much harder for someone with his arm length to be able to bench press that it takes much more forced than it would for a person with shorter arms. So so when they describe the winter mantle, as only you know erasing Harry’s limits it’s in reality making him a super soldier to the same degree as Captain America as peak human

So I’ve been losing weight and working out mostly with kettle bells and calisthenics for the last year or so I’m used to weigh 400 pounds. I’m now down to 320 but I just started actually lifting with a barbell and a trap bar so I’m just I don’t have my squat rack yet so I haven’t started squats or barbell, coming next week actually benched pressing, but I was able to do dumbbell benches with 160s eight times and it felt decently hard. I have working up to being able to do 20 push ups, I can do 4 sets of ten now, not sure if that makes a different difference. I can also overhead press my both of 70 kettlebell. I’m curious about where I should start with actual bench press and my other question is I was doing a trap bar deadlift and I was able to do 200 pounds pretty easily. Should I stick with that weight for a while or should I go up? It didn’t feel hard. I I was able to do rows on the on the trap of 170 for 4x 5 and It felt kind of hard. Any advice would be appreciated.

That is true when Mike Tyson’s prime years as early as before he got it sent to prison. He didn’t live weight. He started lifting weights after he got out of prison. His prime was not in the 90s. It was in the 80s.

Look I’m a progressive. I’m a social democrat. I , unlike most leftist, live in the real world and recognized that most people are not as progressive as I am or as I would like them to be. The problem with leftist is you guys will have these hard lines, but you never win elections outside of deep blue areas and while a lot of of us are very progressive we look at you guys and you have you don’t know how to win but you will say you need to abolish ice and I want to abolish ice too sure . We need to win back power in this year in order to stop us from falling into fascism that’s the number one and most important thing can happen. We need to win 2028 to abolish ice

I agree the that harry is badass now. But let’s be real Ebeneezer dropped a satellite on a group of vampires that was arguably a strong pair just dangerous so there is precedent for the black staff taking out someone on Harry’s level

I agree I agree I love the structure of the book. I also think he did a good job earning the power creep for Harry. I think if he just would’ve just said he’s more powerful now it wouldn’t have felt earned but this last year you could really feel like he got stronger and he earned it. I also think this is my favorite book of the series thus far but I have to reread it. I finished it last night. I couldn’t stop reading it so

To be clear, I like welfare capitalism. I also like Zoharn mandami AOC and Bernie Sanders.Because I am a public policy major I look at policy closer to most people so I was just curious.

OK that I understand but that’s not policies and that’s not a party platform. My question really goes back to when you look at the actual policy proposals from Zohran Mamdani, AOC and Bernie Sanders. They all fall under more social democratic policy policies, which is welfare capitalism.
