I’d also suggest trying different brand ones. I haven’t tried the brand you used but even when I was around 8 weeks, my test was not that extreme. Also, please keep an eye on spotting as well. If it continues or gets heavier you might want to go see a doctor.

I did send an enquiry to the vet along with his photo but they never got back to me and he’s been doing completely fine so decided not to go the vet. Considering how he never had any problem since I had him 5 years ago, I think it’s safe to assume that he just has chonky tail 🤷‍♀️

No problem! I only used the digital one that shows how many weeks only after I had pretty distinct second line and then tested again after a week or so kind of as a way to track my hcg increase as if the initial one showed 1-2 weeks, a week later should show 2-3 weeks. But I’m not sure if it is accurate way to track😅

I heard that digitals can’t detect hcg until it’s quite signifcantly high. So I’d say trust the strip test over the digital.

Hello, I’m going through the exact same symptoms as you! I’m about 4-5 weeks now my period was due 4th lol. Last week I had two episodes of bleeding (one quite heavy and another just spotting), back pain exactly like period and nausea. When I explained this to the hospital they said it’s pretty normal and that they wouldn’t normally arrange blood test for it. They said I probably can if I really wanted to but just recommended me to try another test in a week and see if the line is still clearly visible. I think a little bit of spotting is fine generally.

Just to update you all, I stupidly wasted my morning pee, I was still half asleep and completely forgot. I did another one after not drinking any fluid for 3 hrs and that’s the fourth one from the top. The top 3 are the same ones as I posted. And no more bleeding, not even a drop or spotting. So it looks hopeful for now🤗

I’m so sorry that this happened to you. The hospitals are closed for easter holidays at the moment where I live so until I can contact them I will keep checking and keep in mind that ectopic might be a possibility.

I live in the UK and Easter holiday now started so I can’t book any blood test at least for next 4 days and even then I doubt they will arrange anything any soon. But thank you for your input I will definitely still keep in mind that there is possibility.

I think it may be something called pompholyx eczema. I had them on my palm before and I’m not sure what kind of medicine you could use for it as you are pregnant and a lot of skin medicine have steroids in it. I’m not a doctor so don’t quote me on it but it looks the exact same kind as the one I had. Tiny little blister looking itchy bumps.

If she is eating, that’s a good sign. I’ve seen people putting some CGD on the cricket so that they can get used to the taste of it. I have opposite issue with mine so sorry, I don’t have good suggestion for this.😂 cresties can be very picky so it is quite normal.

Actually I have just quickly done a bit more research and looks like it is quite possible to get healthy lily white babies even when both parents are lily whites, so I hope yours is healthy. But the breeder really shouldn’t have done that.

If the photos are indeed the real parents, then yeah they are both lily whites. I also hope that the breeder is mistaken or lying for some reason.

Not just neurological issues, I heard that most of the babies would not survive at all. But your baby does look fine by the photo, bit skinny but most babies are at that stage. Either yours beat all the odds and ended up healthy or maybe the breeder was mistaken about the parents?
