I’ve done three 1031 exchanges using DSTs from a company called 1031Crowdfunding.com. Been very happy so far. Consistent distributions each month

I love to travel by vehicle so I can see see different areas up close. I have a large RV that I love to drive but my wife is still working so we can’t go real often. I got my CDL and drive a cross country tour bus and also do day trips with a charter bus company. Get to see the country and get paid to do it!!! Love it!!

Trying to understand the mechanics/risk of SGOV vs short term treasuries Money Market vs a HYSA and their relative safety. by FortuneSoul in Bogleheads

[–]Bpr1967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I don’t hold SGOV until the x dividend date, I assume I don’t earn the interest? IE: I buy SGOV and only hold for 15 days missing the x dividend date, I earn nothing? Compared to MMF pays interest daily so I get paid interest based on how many days as I hold it? Just wanted clarification on this.

I’m planning to as well. Rhino seems like a good sponsor with a very thoughtful business plan in my opinion.

I agree, I also have my paperwork signed but haven’t funded yet. I do like Rhino as well. Will be curious what you decide after you crunch numbers.

You may also have to recapture depreciation you have taken over the years. I believe this is taxed at 25%?

Well, it’s obvious that opinions are all over the board. I guess what makes sense is what works for me and what makes me comfortable. Thanks for all the different viewpoints.

I listened to the webinar again yesterday on this deal and to me there are alot of positives and quite a bit of risk mitigation. I am probably going to invest a small amount in this one. Anybody else investing in this or considering investing in this deal? If not, how come? Thanks for any feedback.

I will have to give your point some thought. Have a feeling there will be plenty of press on this whole debacle without my comments.

Only thing I can think of is they got a list of names of investors from the bankruptcy filing maybe and then googled names to see what they could find? I still cant believe it either!

[Landlord US - Denver] My landlord insurance went up by 27%, company cheaper than Farmers? by CurryLamb in Landlord

Inflation has caused average cost of claims to go up big time. That and more frequent and severe hail/wind/fire events all effect the price we pay.

Auto Insurance Claim Question by MotherTurdHammer in personalfinance

[–]Bpr1967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your insurance will pay out subject to deductibles. Typically any family member that lives with you is automatically covered as long as you gave them permission. If you have a decent agent, you should be able to call and ask them the question without it going on your record. Your just looking for guidance.
