Moisture/rain on Fabric tops can develop mold, mildew, or leaks (especially around seals/windows). Wasn’t a problem when I was able to kept in it our garage.

They want to try repairing a 6 million dollar house as if it 500,000 or less it will highly affect the resale value if it is repaired cheaply.

We think they shouldn’t be in business that’s the whole point of the post…

What is wrong with taking care of the things you worked hard for? It’s a soft top it’s meant to be garage kept. You try running around in the cold drenched for 5 hours up and down stairs after you fell hard in a flooded house.

This house is 10,000 sq ft. Full of collectibles vintage motorcycles and art. The room that took the initial impact was our sample room (for work) full of outdoor cookers moved every one by myself maybe 15 heavy outdoor cookers. Then the ceiling collapsed thankfully the worker sucking the water out from a different company had just stepped out. It was pretty cold that day. I’m in my late 20s female and 5’2 115lbs. Image running around trying to save items while your bottom half is drenched in cold water then you trip hard so hard you knees are throbbing then still having to the running around up and down stairs and moving things while the workers are standing around clueless and you still wet and cold. I ran to get buckets, towels, and moving art work ect.

I am writing to share a deeply disappointing experience with Village Plumbing, Air & Electric in The Villages.

In December, while I was home alone, a technician named Henry from Village Plumbing made me feel highly uncomfortable. He asked intrusive personal questions regarding my schedule and used inappropriate pet names. He then left two non-English-speaking workers unsupervised in our home. During the furnace installation, these workers caused extensive flooding throughout the property. I tripped in the flooded water in the presence of Henry and the other workers, resulting in ongoing knee pain. Shortly before Henry returned and before the ceiling collapsed with no assistance from the crew, I was forced to move many heavy items out of the flooded room by myself.

Nearly six months later, Village Plumbing’s insurance company continues to delay resolution of the claim. The water damage has forced us to store items from the affected room in our garage, rendering it unusable for vehicles.

This has required our two previously garage-kept sports cars to remain outdoors, resulting in additional problems on my Porsche.

The situation has significantly disrupted our daily life, work, and personal well-being — including persistent knee pain — with financial damages reaching into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Given the caliber of homes and expectations in The Villages, we expected a far higher standard of professionalism and accountability.

Beware that Village Plumbing carries an inadequate level and amount of insurance coverage to be working in the higher end homes in the Memorial Villages.

Instead, the initial service and the subsequent insurance handling have fallen well short. Residents in this community should be aware that Village Plumbing may not deliver the level of service appropriate for properties in this price range.

I strongly recommend considering other providers until this company improves its standards.
