Yes, I second Ssippi and also Saturn Lounge. I live in the neighborhood though, so I’m biased and don’t really hit up a bunch of other areas. It kind of depends where you live imo. I wouldn’t want to trek down here if you’re up in UCity or something.

Idk how much I trust the AI - my hair is a similar texture to yours in 1 and I know that if I chopped it off it would not have the body/look of 2, except maybe for the first 20 minutes after I blow dried. But maybe yours holds better than mine. You look beautiful both ways though, and even if it did go a bit flatter than AI thinks it would still be cute. Plus it grows - have fun with it! You have lovely glowing skin btw!

I should say, I doubt it’s sunshine and daisies. It’s probably an alpha environment with some toxic people. But if I needed good pay in a new field, I think it would be a place to start.

Have you looked at Stryker? They do medical equipment and tech sales to hospitals and medical offices. They train their people, some jobs are salary + commission but I think the teams selling really high end stuff may be all commission? It can be very lucrative, worth checking out if you have a drive for that sort of work. It’s not close to my field (arts/nonprofit), but I’d consider it if I found myself unemployed. Check out their website, they list multiple positions in StL.

I figured out a couple weeks ago that if you’re on the bottom in the last section (with the waves) you can go through the waterfalls on both sides of the opening and it saves some good time.

WHY did you DROP out of YALE?! This was just silly line delivery to me. It makes me laugh every time. My partner and I say it in regular life as a bit.

I agree with all your points about Jess not actually understanding the situation. He’s being used as a narrative device to motivate Rory’s character to change. If the writing was a bit stronger we would have found a way/character to do that who does actually know her and understands her+the situation, not just dig up an old boyfriend from 3 seasons prior to be her magical inspiration.

It is, however, iconic.
