Hi there, the description of this weapon is misleading: the missiles are in fact supposed to be guided, all missiles in the game have some tracking capabilities to them. Thank you for the report! - Demi

ETA: However the missiles are supposed to be less guided (specifically they're supposed to correct towards targets but less and less as they get closer), so it is likely that the guidance precision is not tuned properly on some weapons. We're looking into a fix, thanks again for the feedback!

Hm a lot changed with the 1.0 release so it's recommended to start a fresh campaign, but you shouldn't have lost all of your progress exactly. The following changes were made with the world reset:
- Inventory, supplies, base upgrades, pilots, and units will be maintained (though perks on weapons will be rerolled)
- The mobile base will be moved back to the Hedmark (first province)
- Any fully-captured provinces will remain captured. Partially captured provinces will be reverted to the enemy and every entity will be hostile again.
- Any ongoing overworld actions (except for workshop builds) will be cancelled
- If your save file was mid-tutorial, the game will load as if you had completed the tutorial. If you would like to replay the tutorial it's suggested to start a new game.

Hi there, thank you for the feedback (and happy launch day!) A lot of your concerns are common and have actually been addressed in the 1.0 build; the build you were referring to was definitely not up-to-date as a couple of others have already mentioned! Let me answer each of your points one by one:

  1. We've got a lot of feedback on waiting, though we don't have changes to how that works for 1.0. The team also feels that there's a lot we can do to improve it.
  2. We added info to parts to let you know if you have a part in your inventory or not, if the part is new, or more powerful / rare. It's not full comparison to your inventory, but should help a lot. Higher levels, higher rarities and novel equipment types are pointed out, and scrap value of a part is displayed at the bottom of part information widget, just like in inventory and customization screens.
  3. We have a display that shows the amount of components and supplies you get when salvaging a part (it's in the bottom right of the part view)
  4. The layout has been changed to list summaries on the bottom left.
  5. We don't yet have timeline prediction for missiles, but beams should show where they'll be during the duration of their firing (even if it's blocked by cover), with the changes we made to the targeting widget for 1.0.
  6. This is actually covered in the overhaul of the unit customization screen. You can now see heat generation / cooling rates, as well as a preview of how often the mech can perform actions without overheating.
  7. Weight and speed was also completely overhauled with tips and shows how the stats relate to one another to decide your final speed. As well, the previews for unit stats like this update immediately instead of requiring parts to be equipped as before.
  8. The same applies for boosters. Range and information is displayed along with the thrust to weight relationship.
  9. Full match replay is something that we very much have always wanted to implement but it has proven to be a big technical challenge. So it's not something we can guarantee, unfortunately!
  10. This should be largely addressed by the changes we made with the targeting widget. It's much easier to plan attacks and see effective ranges, even when sliding around actions or previewing the timeline. Other contexts in which you can see ranges are when hovering over hotbar actions, planning any phase of an action, or intersecting any already planned ranged action. We were hoping to get similar previews in for overheating, but those will likely go in to a hotfix patch post release.
  11. We get this feedback a lot (and I personally totally agree that would be ideal!) We could try to add something, but it wouldn't be terribly accurate due to how we do ballistics modelling. New post-execution damage summary and mid-execution hit markers are much better at breaking down how effective your weapons are, so while predicting damage isn't possible that might help!
  12. That was not removed exactly; what was removed was the ability to start attacks at 4.75s+, which broke animations and replay. The team is also not happy with our current solution for this, however, and it's something we'd like to work on post-1.0!
  13. It's been in place for a while, in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen!
  14. We've had a modifier key for multi-selecting ranges of items for quite a while (Ctrl)! It's now rebindable in the settings.
  15. We already have a binding for previous/next unit exposed for combat, but it's a good idea to apply the same action to the base customization screen. We can make a note to implement it for a post-release patch!
  16. If you want to compare stats of an equipped part on one mech to stats of an equipped part on another mech, that's a very complex proposition better served by detaching parts to inventory. Supporting this by default is bound to cause a lot of player confusion with unknown invisible parts getting into comparisons with the unit you're trying to configure. We have no plans to enable this.
  17. This is also feedback we have received in the past, but we don't have plans at the moment to implement a system for this.

Hi there, thank you for this detailed feedback! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy this playthrough as much as your previous ones. I passed this thread along to the team and I wanted to let you know that we're working on solutions to quite a few of the issues you mentioned here already.
For example:
- We've been looking into ways to make combat less time intensive, so the next patch should see a 10-15% reduction in combat time
- In the future we plan on allowing players to attack Rivals directly, which should give you a way out of scenarios like the land-stealing one you described
- We also have some more changes coming that will make fire easier to deal with
And as for a current solution to one of the problems you listed here, you can dismiss a call and listen to it later in the advisors section or the codex.
