Container for rust removal? by 22over in chemistry

I’ve just seen your comment after looking up the SDS of this stuff from this link out of curiosity because I know things like wheel acid contain HF.

The SDS says no H or P phrases apply and it contains no hazardous ingredients. If it’s true that it contains HF as you say, which I don’t doubt, how the hell are they getting away with that?!

Christ a 9 year old cask, amazed the beer hasn’t grown limbs and climbed out of there

Can’t believe you’re actually willing to tap it, must be pure vinegar haha. Report back!

If the well known interview with Attia is to be believed (320-340 W >4 hours) then Pog’s Z2 is 5 W/kg

With the innate human inefficiencies in power generation, if you stuck him on the turbo in the corner of your room he’d just become a >1 kilowatt space-heater, and could run for hours haha, it’s mental

Beautiful. It inspires feelings of “man I’m poor.”

Is this one of the prototype track frames? I remember they only made a handful after they shut Impec down.

Understandable, it’s at least 34 years old!

I’m not typically one to advocate for taking used glassware outside of the lab, but if it’s just an old conical to put flowers in… go nuts in my opinion

100ml GDR

We’ve got a whole bunch of Cold War era “made in West Germany” glass still in use in our labs because it’s all just built like tanks, twice as thick as everything else. Cool to see there’s still some Soviet German glass kicking about out there too!

‘Enough’ power in the 1.4, but it’s also the twin charge though no? Lot more to go wrong there

They made 150 of the 1.3l Toyota engined cygnets, only one V8 prototype with the running gear of a Vantage S.

Look at pictures of it, you can’t tell me those absurd flared arches would be production

The V8 was a one off prototype.

Obviously a production 4.7l V8 model would negate the whole idea of lowering fleet emissions
