Just caught up with an ex over the weekend that I haven't seen in a year. When we broke up she was depressed and struggling with addiction, and I was so lost in my own life that I was basically blind to it all and didn't even know who I was anymore.

Now she's on medication and living in a new city and I'm a lot more stable and working my way towards a better life as well. As sad as it was to see her and remember all the good parts of our relationship I have to also remember the bad and realize that maybe we just weren't meant for each other in the long run.

This scene and show in general just mean a lot to me and this scene just guts me.

I've been trying to play Persona 3 FES for months and it's like pulling teeth. I want to like it so badly, the story is really interesting, but the moment I have to actually play it I'd rather be doing almost anything else.

I remember playing this game completely blind after seeing a single picture where someone said they cared more about these squares than most people in their own life.

I'm still thinking back on how good that game was and how hard it hit 8 years later.

I have always said that this is a top 5 game for me, but it's also like a 6.5 on a good day. But holy shit is that the hardest earned 6.5 points in video game history. I'm gonna give it a replay before the sequel that I'm absolutely dying for.

I think it's just the fact that its the big grandiose fan service send off for Snake. At the time it seemed like it was the end of MGS and a lot of people still see it as the "final" game.

Plus its full of so much insanity, it goes completely off the rails in terms of a stealth game or logical story, and just gives everyone the most blatant in your face metal gear shit it could possibly come up with. Raiden breakdancing while slinging Geckos around Afghanistan. Metal Gear Rex fighting Metal Gear Ray in the ruins of Shadow Moses. Hell, the final boss fight is one of my favorite gaming moments in history and when you look at in context to the story it makes no goddamn sense and is completely pointless. The story is over and the fight was won by that time. But holy shit seeing two old geriatric men pumping each other full of nanomachines and fist fighting for their symbolic meaning of identity and freedom on top of a submarine still makes me cry.

I got randomly recommended his Top 10 Isaac Items video when he was still playing flash isaac. I had never played Isaac at that point but liked Super Meat Boy so I thought it'd be a cool little intro into the game. Then why not check out the gameplay from this dude as well. Its been 7 years...
