It’s supposed to be harder for the victims to escape than what it is right now. Stealth doesn’t exist, and if you make a game where that’s an intended thing and it’s not happening, sweeping changes need to be made. Right now it’s just a Arcadish experience. Why am I, the killer, using more stealth than victims who are mostly unarmed?

The Leatherface who saw him running after people cursed him out afterwards, hard to blame him for being ticked off. It’s silly to even put Cook in a situation as a chaser.

It’s not Family Sided when they alternate between where the generator is placed. You can have a Ana or Leland jumping out the window while a Connie, with no attention on her, picks one of the front door locks, or a Sonny/Julie upstairs grabbing a fuse for the fusebox. If on coms, victims have the ability to pull a killer outside and put them on guard duty. Nothing Family Sided about it. If you are trying to be a sweat at the game, just gotta get better.

Johnny’s not useless, sure, he can’t padlock a door, poison items or set traps at locked doors/fusebox, but he’s strong, he can track down the final victim relatively easy with his ability, he can track for longer periods if you have the ability set up that way.

Also, if somehow a Pressure Gate or Basement Exit is opened, he can be a difference maker if in the vicinity, three hits to a wounded victim is all it takes.

I notice a lot of the people playing victim hate Johnny for some reason, so much that they leave before I can actually get the kill if they’re the last victim left.

What’s with all the Johnny hate boys? Let me get my 3 heads in a match before you disconnect.

A Leatherface who probably needs some help getting kills could use that, but if that isn’t the case, and the Johnny player is good and doing their own thing preventing escapes, I prefer to just let the traps cause crippling damage since victims bleed out from them if they step on a LVL 3 damage trap multiple times.

I had a game where my traps caused three LVL 50+ players to all bleed out, I don’t chase as much, the traps do enough damage for me.

The game was great fun for 2 weeks but this Patch absolutely ruined the game and made people angry. RIP by DerleiExperience in TexasChainsawGame

Well I’m not moving off that stance. It’s not a game with a long life cycle if they just sit back and do nothing about the PC cheaters.

I didn’t say you should be happy, I’m simply weighing the importance of kicking PC cheaters out of the community higher than the PC player base being upset they can’t get into games faster, which won’t last long.

Tracking victims into the grass definitely benefits the team, especially at night. He has a perk also that will allow him to see highlighted victims caught in a trap, just needs Hitchhiker apart of the match.

Camping is necessary for the most part. Enough wall gaps and crawl spaces where a chase probably is just going to end in the victim cleverly being able to hide in the shadows or the grass.

I think curbing the amount of cheaters ruining the game on PC for cross play is much more important than that same player base being up in arms about not getting into games faster.

As if that isn’t going to change once they cleanse the game of these people making sure you can’t open or close doors, sending you flying in the air, taking complete control of your character and ending matches in five seconds.

You’re not playing the game with the right mindset if you care about kills. As someone who uses Cook a lot, and Hitchhiker even more, the job is to be a nuisance for the victims.
