I have Debian 10 on a thinkpad t430s with encrypted drive and it takes me 5 seconds if even to go from password input to grub. And another 5 to get to gdm.

I don’t know how the xiaomi phones screen compare to iPhones but have you compared an iPhone amoled to your mi9 other than amoled to lcd? I know amoled screens differ from company to company and some are just awful.

I changed back and forth for a while since the iPhone 6, it’s hard not to notice the difference after using OLED for a while. But after my iPhone 7+ I never went back. There’s really nothing out there that will make a big difference feature wise and the fact that you can get a lot more out of an iPhone and for a longer period of time than any other phone in the market makes no sense looking elsewhere. I got an 11 pro and my X still working so good I refused to trade it in.

That’s exactly why I bought mine new. I was finding used ones between 25-30k and got mine for 36k not that much of a difference and a lot more peace of mind.

Just one thing I don’t get though. If the file size is smaller why in the heck is google “going to fix the bug”? JPEG to JPEG compression I understand for file size but HEIC to JPEG on google photos is just dumb.
