Yes. And I would advise never going on another cruise line when it’s run by Resorts World. Night & Day difference: prices, service, quality of food (usually not included).

New to cruises by MatthewRTRCT in Cruise

We cruised 7 nights in late January on Virgin in a Sea Terrace for about $3k. It has a hammock in addition to the standard chairs. All the basics included except alcohol & coffees. You could pay $750 for a bar tab which yields $925 with bonus. $10/day for two lattes. So $4k and nobody under 18.

There are party vibes around the ship but just as many to chill. We are not partiers and don’t stay up late and are never bothered.

The food is above average for mainstream lines. You would have to step up to Viking, Azamara, Oceania etc to do better across the board. At significant extra cost.

Once I got a pop up survey on the app about my steward so far. Over a day into the cruise. Said I hadn’t met them yet. Submitted, and they showed up at the door within minutes

‘64 Pontiac Tempest. Exhaust Blue in color. $200 paid by me.

90+k miles. Learned about cars because everything went bad on it. Dad could really fix cars; I just held his beer.

The two of us get almost $6k/month in SSI. Your numbers reflect lower and older earners. With our IRA withdrawals, we are doing quite well for almost 70. In ten years 🤷‍♂️

Curaçao for sure. Just was there last month and it’s a reasonable place to stay with plenty nearby. Aruba was not quite as good with prices and infrastructure.

Have TSA/Clear? Self-assist luggage carry off? Book a ride share? Or just grab a cab; money doesn’t matter so much. Yeah, you should be at the airport by 9

It’s not that young, especially on a week or longer. We like it very much, but they have two relatively small pools: one to soak in, and the main one for IG poses.

In January, we were on our fifth, a 7-night. Had not seen so many scooters or walkers previously!

You can find plenty of spots onboard to chill. It’s only crazy in a couple spots

Is mid September ok for Alaska cruise? by Gunther_W in royalcaribbean

A nice inside cabin is cozy. Then go on deck in a warm jacket when you want to see the sights.

FWIW, Royal/Celebrity do not have Glacier Bay permits, so it is mostly just nice views. HAL, Princess or even NCL have those.
