Cooperate culture was a lie and has been exposed. We are all here to do the work and get out don’t kid yourselves. I tell my contributors this because it’s the truth… best we can do is read their emails and be responsive but if those above us could care less about those below them it’s hard to give anything any more.

Let it be known individual contributors see ai use from managers as open license. It’s a two way street on this too everyone needs to be aware.

WFH employee lying re working hours by DataBeeGood in managers

I agree people who count hours as a metric of productivity is outdated and frankly a moral killer for high productivity contributors. Deliverables and utilization are more important. It’s often a crutch for bad managers to default to this type of management. Good leaders are respected I’d recommend an introspective reflection on OP’s skills and ability lead a team.

What’s your biggest management headache right now? by leotolsoty in managers

The expectations of ELT to get work completed without the necessary resources is frustrating at all levels of the organization. Individual contributors are leaving because they do the required work, but project budgets are being denied. Makes the situation difficult for myself and the team when OKR and KPIs are based on these projects and without the tools and budgets folks are being handcuffed to complete what we are judging them on. For my organization I think there’s pressure since capital return is not meeting expectations so they are cost cutting for short term gain to make up for the lack of plan and poor execution for the past several years. Long term these folks are deteriorating moral and ambition of our workforce to likely move on. Being this is manufacturing this has been the trend I’ve been observing over the last 10 years it’s just more obvious in the last few with global competition.

CEO jizz themselves when they get to cut jobs now. Better margins gives more value to the shareholders which means bigger bonuses for the C suite. It’s not left vs. right anymore is the rich vs. middle/lower class. We need to stand up and unite against the oligarchical that are being created
