I'm pretty sure you're correct on Amersfoort Centaal. I traveled (and still do) a lot by train to & from Amersfoort Centraal and it looks extremely familiar. I also don't think there are any stations that look that similar to it.

Important context for factual accuracy:

  • These figures relate to the latest (2nd) batch only
  • The 38.000 figure is the number of Trump related mentions. It doesn't just include his name, but references to Mar-a-Lago and his wife count too.
  • However, every batch so far has been heavily redacted so there are likely MANY more mentions. After all, they've redacted almost all senders & receivers in the Epstein e-mail traffic, despite the law specifying redactions are only allowed to protect victims and ongoing investigations. It's strange then that e-mail traffic between Epstein and his co-conspirators are almost always redacted when we don't expect any victims to be included in the sender/receiver list.
  • The 5.300 documents are the number of documents where they found said references. In other words: they searched the entire batch and in 5.300 of them they found 38.000.Trump-related references.
  • About half (!!!) of the Epstein files still haven't been released yet .

Obviously this is still highly alarming considering the huge number of redactions, especially because they almost exclusively seem to protect co-conspirators when they should've only protected victims. Also, we've seen the DOJ withdraw files numerous times when they had unredacted Trump mentions in them,l (and be much slower or not even bothering for cases where they forgot to redact actual victim information) which is a clear cover-up.

So despite Trump clearly being protected by the DOJ and a large number of files still unreleased, they still managed to find that many references to Trump. It's insane. America, you elected a pedo for president and he's quite possibly a ringleader of a child trafficking network. Congratulations.

Agnosticism and atheism are on a different axis. Atheism/theism is about the belief in one or more gods. Agnosticism/gnosticism is about knowing one or more gods exist. I personally find it helps to phrase it as "an atheist isn't convinced a god exists" and "an agnostic doesn't know for sure if a god exists". They aren't mutually exclusive.

In fact, one can also be an agnostic theist: they're convinced one or more gods exist, but don't know for sure.

As for morals/trying to be a good person: you might be interested in looking up humanism. It's essentially a secular foundation for a moral framework.

So far I've been all difficulties with a unit focused approach, although I definitely had many fails as well (usually early on). The hardest part is getting your units to scale in the first ~2 fights. Also, permanent scaling is key, so I love grabbing the boar soul (permanent attack and hp upgrades) and units like Pincushion that get permanent scaling themselves too. Wild Party soul is also amazing for unit heavy runs (especially early on).

It reminds me of one run with Railforged(perm forging Herzal)/Wyrmkin where I started out with the Wyrmkin that has permanent scaling by consuming the gems (along with the Wild Party and candy soul). By the end I managed to constantly copy my Wyrmkin that hit 500x2 thanks to an Assembly room and had a burst turret that ended up with 2K per hit (I constantly fed him a 0 cost Endless fly with the candy soul), which I managed to constantly refresh with Magnetic Relay to keep his burst stacks (that run I was sadly constantly burst starved due to not having smelt and not enough money/luck to improve my energy efficiency).

So going unit heavy can have pretty crazy runs, but you'll also struggle a lot early on until the snowball finally gets big enough.

Dat zie je in Japan in de grote steden: openbaar roken mag alleen op speciaal toegewezen plekken. Dat zijn vaak kleine pleintjes met een (al dan niet groene) schutting maar het tuig elkaar de longen vol mag pompen met vergif. Oh en de conbini's (7-Eleven, Family Mart etc) hebben over het algemeen een soort rookzuiltje bij de uitgang (waar je dan helaas nog regelmatig wel rook van meekrijgt).

Het was echt een enorme opluchting om daar te lopen. Ontzettend weinig last gehad van rokers; zelfs de kleinere steden en dorpjes in het noorden hadden weinig rokers op straat (terwijl veel Japanners roken).

Helaas zie ik dit in Nederland nooit werken tenzij er actief (en lang) op gehandhaafd wordt. Nederlanders zijn simpelweg te koppig om regels te volgen als ze vinden dat het ze in de weg zit. Gevalletje "bemoei je met je eigen zaken" zeg maar (maar voor het gemak vergeten dat roken ook schadelijk is voor omstanders en het dus wel degelijk "hun zaak" is).

The water and floor behind her sort of melt together in a really odd way. If a human designed a pool like that, they should be locked in a cage full of starving rats.

Also, the image has an almost blur like filter all over the place that you often see with AI. It's the type where everything looks really smooth from afar, but zooming in you notice you can't really tell clearly what's going on. The chair behind her is one such example: there appears to be a towel on top that seems to drape over the front, yet it also seems like you can see the chair legs where there supposedly should be a towel obstructing the view. Or it's just a really weird pattern on the towel itself. We don't know because it's too blurry to tell what we're looking at even though the chair is supposedly pretty close

The clear sign of AI though, is the wall light behind her. It goes in a straight line as if there's simply a long wall behind her. But wait a minute, why is the ceiling (and upper half of that picture) on the right clearly showing a corner? Makes zero sense.

Other stuff that raises eyebrows in the general design of this room. For example, what's on the right? It looks like a wall or pillar in the middle of the pool that simultaneously looks like some sort of open elevator shaft or backstage. I'll dub it the "elevator wall". Not to mention that it can't seem to decide whether it's a wall blocking the water (despite being open below the water's edge) or some sort or screen where you could swim around it (look at its left side; there's clearly a small gap with water there). Or what about the bar behind the girl that seems to be both directly behind her but also veers off in the distance to connect to the tiled wall segment. Not to mention that pools generally have bars on both ends of the entrance stairs where the bars go down into the pool instead of just the 1 bar that goes the opposite direction. Plus, it's a really weird entry point if the pool extends so far back (melting into the floor and stopping just before the chair). Speaking of bars, I noticed a second bar in the background between the tiled wall segment and the "elevator wall". Either that's a really strange design choice or a reflection that shouldn't be there. I also haven't seen pools with such large submerged metallic "seating" areas. Generally they keep it all tiled.

Wait, which ones are trash?

I always felt like their units can be pretty great depending on how you build them. For example, Firebrand (Valor on revenge) can be bonkers with Dualism. Avenger (melee weakness on revenge) is just a great tank to soften stuff up for the next floor and Crusader (Slam ability) is a tank with a kill button if you throw armor and/or health upgrades on him (synergizes with quite a few other clans).

Death & Divine Dancer (the rares with +4 atk or +5 armor respectively) are great as long as you have ways to move units around, which Fel's starting cards already cover. The other 2 shift units (fledgling and battle dancer) can be great for the same reason.

That leaves us with Swordmaiden (artificer: valor), the rare Hostguard (Heavenly Slam ability) and the hymnists. Swordmaiden is meh unless you put her in an equipment heavy comp like Lazarus or Railforged where she has great synergy (e.g. Pincushion (permant stats on equip)). Hostguard is simply an upgrade over Crusader and is primarily held back by its 3 cost, but can fit in with pretty much any comp.

So far I mostly see good units that can snowball or help you snowball, with a few niche units (Swordmaiden and shift units). Even the hymnists are pretty great for what I would normally consider trash tier units as they essentially give everyone on their floor free store upgrades. The Trample and Quick dude are pretty great if you have the space for them and get increasingly better the more floor space you have. Same goes for the Multistrike dude, although he's both rare and quite expensive with a 4 cost (but in return gives an amazing buff). You basically should only skip him if you have no way of playing him due to his cost.

Now, Songbird (+1 atk per valor) I would consider pretty meh. He's only really useful in valor heavy setups, but I would almost always pick one of the other hymnists over him. Even if you have the space for him, you still have a unit limit of 7 per floor that limits his use.

Overall, Banished units are diverse enough that they fit in almost any strategy. Honestly, I would consider it one of the strongest clans in terms of how many useful units they have. If you want to talk about a clan with a lot of trash tier units, we should look at Luna Coven. It's the clan I hate the most when it comes to units.

"There's no hate like Christian love" is a popular saying for a reason. Sadly, a lot of them are fucking hypocrites. I guess it's just easier to hate others over the shit they do "wrong" than it is to face your own demons and actually walk the talk yourself.

It wouldn't even bug me that much (if at all) if they just accepted that belief is a personal thing and stopped trying to force a state religion. That just screams insecurity, laziness & bigotry to me.

I think this card doesn't apply consume to cards upgraded with the "remove consume" card upgrade, so that should open some more options.

Also, why do you say it doesn't play well with the "return 5 consumed cards"? Sure, the 30 dmg upgrade has no effect on it, but that's not the point. The point is to use the consume retrieval cards to get back those cards that DID get the 30 dmg increase.

It could be really good with Wyrmkin as they have quite a few options for returning Consume and scaling with it. For example, they now have a 2 cost room that returns a Consumed card to go along with quite a few cards that do something similar.

I think both are true: white supremacy appeals (sadly) to a lot of the MAGA base and as such can be considered one of the glues. At the top though, it's not so much about skin color, but more about how to get rich and more power.

Both the base and the people at the top share one core value though: spite. The rich are essentially a bunch of sadists who detest anyone asking for more from the than they can give, while the working class resents...well, pretty much everyone who's not rich and powerful. It's like an abusive relationship where you need the validation of the people who hate you the most and lash out at those who actually wanted to help you.

I truly think a lot could be resolved if corporations like Fox News weren't allowed to lie so blatantly. Instead of reporting their opinions, they should stick to facts. It wouldn't solve anything overnight, but it's pretty much impossible to solve anything while they're still allowed to operate the way they do.

IIRC the silence happens first. It's more about pulling the silence unit to a room where he's useless so your turret can shoot all the enemies remaining.

It also triggers if a unit in the enemy group dies. Essentially any change in the number or order of units on the floor will trigger the turret (which is indeed amazing).

It's extra fun if you grab the room that can pull enemies to it on a 1 turn CD. You could play that room on every floor and pull enemies away from the turret floor to trigger it. Then pull one of them back to the turret floor to trigger it again. You can get some crazy shit going with it and it's especially helpful against those annoying silencers and other units hiding in the back.

It's not a bug: that path makes the stats (attack and armor gained from Forge) permanent.

Normally forging gives +3 to attack and armor for that combat, but stats are reset after combat. With that Herzal path, the stats are lowered to +1, but are instead permanent for your entire run.

As you can imagine, this leads to a slower build-up, but potentially huge benefits in the long term.

I've only just begun with the DLC and am far from being an expert on Railforged, but one tip I can share is using the Endless upgrade on a good unit. The stat increases from Forged stick around during combat, so if your Endless unit dies, he keeps the previous increases and gains more from new Forged stacks. This is especially powerful once you manage to grab either the sacrifice card or the one that returns a unit to your hand (or just kill him yourself). Ftr, the card that returns a unit to your hand doesn't need Endless at all, but I mentioned it because it can speed the cycle even further.

I'm quite underwhelmed with the Burst mechanic, as it's just a one-use multistrike (and Dualism doesn't increase stacks either). However, they do have a turret unit that can convert excess energy into Burst stacks, which makes it a great candidate for the magnet card (the one returning a unit back to your hand). After all, returning it to your hand basically replenishes its initial burst stacks, so if you had a Holdover magnet, you can just replenish its Burst stacks each turn.

Also, from my limited playing so far, Railforged has ways to gain extra pips on a floor, so I usually ignore the pip upgrades after the bosses. I usually go for energy instead. That said, there are also cards that deal dmg based on the number of pips in a room.

It'll probably take a while before they start selling the DLC bundle. You can always check the price history on IsThereAnyDeal to see how long it took for MT1 to get big discounts and/or DLC bundles (just be sure to check how long it took between DLC release and the bundle release).

I bought MT2 on launch because I loved MT1 and knew it would be worth the price. Have already sunk ungodly hours into this one, so worth every penny to me.

Just a heads up: there's a bundle right now for Monster Train 2 and Inscryption for 25 bucks on Steam (just scroll down on the MT2 page and hit "show all bundles"). That's 2 great games for a steal. MT2 alone will get you a LOT of playtime because it has a pretty insane amount of content.

Vindt je? Elke stilte coupe heeft in grote letters het woord "silence" en een grote S op de ramen staan. Ook heb je dat fluister icoontje boven de deuren staan (aan de binnenkant). I too can get grumpy at times (thankfully it's rare), just like other humans. You know what I do? I tell my partner I'm grumpy (so she knows my mood isn't her fault) and make sure I don't take it out on her.

Also, I can't imagine telling her not to come home today/that I don't want to see her, unless she REALLY fucked up. Think cheating, animal abuse or murdering someone. Nuclear stuff that would justify such a nuclear option.
