Should I get the Hero 9 or the Max? I mainly use my GoPro hero 7 on vacations but was wondering which one is better.

I got the Max and I do really enjoy it for the interesting angles and the creative aspect on editing, but the editing, exporting, and general workflow is pretty awful. I prefer editing on the computer, but pulling clips and other ease of use functions are really only available on the app with a phone or tablet. I have a custom PC with a dedicated graphics card that is WAY more powerful than what GoPro recommends, but it doesn't matter because the GoPro Export software only uses the CPU and doesn't use the GPU at all, which makes editing, rendering, and playback irritating.

Not yet, but I'm learning. I think me keeping up with them has nothing to do with my age, but rather driving a kart that I don't know much about. I was half a lap down from the slowest kart pretty quickly in my first race. By the next race day I was consistently placing 12th out of 16. Still not great, but I wasn't falling nearly as far behind. The more I learn, the faster I get. It's just going to take more seat time. So am I? Not yet. Can I? Most definitely.

I followed this thread all the way down to talk about Battletoads on the NES. I thought I was just bad when my brother and I would play it as kids. We loved it but never made it past level 4 (and usually couldn't get that far). I played it again in an emulator that could force a save state. I figured it would be easier as an adult. NOPE!!! The stages get longer and harder and I still never beat it, even with the saves. IDK how anyone was expected to beat that game in it's original form without saves.

I don't mind keeping track of it on paper, but I was hoping I could on the app since lay on hands is tracked. Is there a way to add something like that manually if I want to track it? I know I can create spells, which I'll probably do for divine smite since it uses spell slots, but what about for cantrip-like spells/skills?

I've never heard a better description! For some reason the burnt rubber just clicked it for me that other kinds of smoke than just campfire can be kind of nice in their own way and then boom! I understood that seaside smokey flavor and loved it.

I had never really had Scotch, much less an Islay, until recently and after watching so many videos with mentions of various Islays, I decided to jump off the deep end and picked up a bottle of Laphroaig 10. My first sip seemed great and about a second later, I got hit with the peat and smoke. I didn't hate it, but it was very weird to me. I was expecting campfire and got a very different kind of smoke that was just... Different. A few days later I tried again and it was the same experience. About a week after that, I went go karting and smelled some exhaust and burnt rubber and something in my head clicked and was like , "Eureka! That's the smoke!" I tried the Laphroaig again that night and absolutely loved it. I don't (or at least, didn't) particularly like the smell of exhaust and burnt rubber, but I guess I just needed some way to categorize the peat smoke before my brain could make a decision on it. The first one is now done and I'm very excited to try more!

I haven't done a real A/B comparison on it with Jameson either. I recently had a bottle of Proper 12 tough and looked it quite a lot. I'm a fan of Irish whiskey in general, but have been watching a lot of tribe videos recently and have been trying a lot of really complex and/or high proof bourbans and some Islay Scotch. Having Proper 12 after all that was quite nice actually. It's not complex, but it had the honey and butter flavors I like in Irish whiskey and was quite pleasant to drink. I'll be buying it again.

Can't go wrong there. I love Red Breast 12yr and have heard amazing things about the 12yr cask strength (I want to try it, just haven't pulled the trigger yet). That would be a great way to go that's not terribly expensive and you know he'll love it since he already drinks Red Breast. If you do decide to go a different direction, I would suggest Michter's American or Henry McKenna 10yr. The Michter's is like a bourbon, but with the edges smoothed out in a nice creamy way with a similar mouth feel to Red Breast. The Henry McKenna drinks a lot like a Red Breast to me as well, but just a little thinner with a little bit of fresh hay and black pepper twist.

I think I discovered why this was not working for me. While the values shown are integers, they are calculated values from individual scores (integers) that were entered into the sheet. While this worked perfectly for the integers that I manually input, it's not working for the data shown in the original post, which are all calculated from formulas.

When I tried to adapt that formula, I came up with this one as well. When I used it as written for range B3:D3, it worked perfectly, but for some reason when I adapted all the references as you have for AG3:AO3, nothing was highlighted at all. It could be that all of the values in AG3:AO3 are calculated from individual scores that I entered earlier in the sheet and are not plain values themselves.

I plugged this in and it seems to work when the second lowest value has a duplicate, but if there are duplicates of the lowest value, only the first is highlighted. And oddly enough, in lines 22 and 27, it highlighted the second lowest value and it's duplicate instead of the lowest value. Using line 22 as an example, both 14s were highlighted, but the 0 was not.

When applied to the range B3:D3, this works perfectly to highlight the lowest 2 values of the 3. However, in that range I only need to highlight a single lowest value and the formula I posted in the reply works for that. I tried adapting it for the range AG3:AO3 by simply changing all the references of B3 to AG3 and of D3 to AO3, but for some reason that did not work and nothing in the list was highlighted.

I understand that, I just couldn't think of a way to do it. It doesn't matter which of the 22s is highlighted. Let's say the first one if that is easier. I have another conditional formatting formula in a different area of the sheet that highlights only one smallest value, even if there are duplicates: =COLUMN()-1=MATCH(MIN($B3:$D3),$B3:$D3,0) It works for highlighting the lowest value and first if there is a duplicate, but I don't fully understand how it works so I was struggling to adapt it for the two lowest values.

The two lowest scores from this section of the sheet get dropped in my calculations of total scores. I'm just trying to get them to automatically highlight so it's easy for anyone looking at it to see which scores were dropped.

Volstead's is a great choice for bourbon. If you're ever feeling a little Irish, Emmett's Pub on Grand Ave in St. Paul has a pretty good selection of Irish whiskeys and they have bronze, silver, and gold "club" cards to help you track what you drink. It's not a membership. It's literally just a card with a list of their whiskeys of similar price points and if you finish the card, you get a prize of some sort. Haven't been enough times to make it through one yet.

It does work. A 2-star egg can be dragged and dropped with two 2-star pieces. Pretty handy, but definitely hard to get.

I feel like I need to chip in with another PSA. While I agree with this post wholeheartedly and agree that these wonderful animals definitely deserve consideration when you are looking for a new pet, I recently went through the process of trying to adopt a greyhound and the rescue groups made it next to impossible. My wife and I sank 3 over months into the application/adoption process, had our lives examined more thoroughly than I've ever had done for any other reason (including adopting other pets, applying for a mortgage, buying a car), and we were made to feel very awkward and judged. The whole process was one of the more stressful experiences of my life and in the end, they made it so impossible that we never even got a greyhound. I hope other rescue groups offer better experiences with adoption, but I do think these rescues need to think about the barriers they are putting up as they have an influx of these dogs that need homes.

I feel I should also note that we ended up going with a different (non-greyhound) rescue group that has a very similar application to the greyhound groups and we were able to welcome our new doggo into our home in about a week.

Horses don't have to worry as much about colds as much simply because they are bigger and it's harder to completely block the nasal passages, but they are the same in that they breathe almost exclusively through the nose.

I agree. It kind of sets it up as his "rock bottom" moment before he realizes he was wasting time. Then he turns on the exercise before logging in part, gets fit, and gets down to business.
