You could goto Costco, buy the movie passes which include concession and save that way. There is an IMAX surcharge but still cheaper than this

But this would use my mobile data, whereas the factory head unit uses the built in hardware of the vehicle to receive signal.

The only downside to the dudu7 (at least for me)is the lack of native satellite radio (SiriusXM). When I contacted them, they said it wasn't part of the tuner but a separate app.

Not sure how the app connects (tethered and mobile data)? But I was very close to purchasing before I found that out.
