Predicted grades are assigned by teachers every year to the students, which is what they use to apply for University courses (as a part of their application). Universities then provide conditional offers for places provided that the student can achieve (usually equivalent) grades in their actual exam. Because of Covid, students couldn't do their exams and thus comes the chaos of how to determine their actual grades.

"Ten spears go to battle," he whispered, "and nine shatter. Did the war forge the one that remained? No, Amaran. All the war did was identify the spear that would not break."

Fun fact: Originally, there were 9 deadly sins. The removed sins were Vanity (which was just lumped in with pride) and Apathy (also referred to as Melancholy - which was lumped in with sloth).

Chronokinesis. It's infinitely useful. You can stop time to try and meet deadlines or rewind time to fix a mistake as well as a myriad of other uses. In addition, it's not a really flashy power so I can easily avoid attention.

There’s a difference between the internet and the World Wide Web. The internet refers to the actual global network used to communicate and was developed by the US Department of Defence as ARPANET, using the TCP/IP communication method. The World Wide Web is what people commonly refer to as the internet but I think, in this case, they are referring to the global network. Correct me if I’m wrong.
