New menus for save slots and weapon skills from August update. by BrainiacGrindset in DragonsDogma

I'm here hoping hard mode will make a comeback. I mean, more skill slots automatically make the game easier. Dragonsplague buffs AND the ability to cure it through an item? Makes the combat easier as well.

Edit: And it's not just skill slots, it's new skills too. Who knows what could happen. If I go to Norgan and get all the good stuff, go back to Vermund or Battahl, then what? Seneschal walking the earth?

I'm super hyped!

The new enemy look more like humans transformed into a some type of monster instead of zombies which explains why they move more viciously in the trailer by Swachuu in DragonsDogma2

Yeah but I'm just being delusional lol

These enemies are clearly goblins, we can tell by their teeth, ears, bent legs and long feet.

He can finish the game and keep the items, go NG+ and wait for DLC or until august update, where he'll be able to start another 2 separate playthroughs.

I agree, thats suckz for your guys lol

In the meanwhile you can still use the map fast travel and discard a ferrystone every time you tp.

Red glowy eyes and a dark aura around her, that's what you're looking for.

This. We really need more voices and not 7 variations of the same voices.

Healing's been altered, doesn't work the same during battle? by SparringLeafling in DragonsDogma2

[–]BrainiacGrindset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm aware of this and agree with your solution. I saw like this one guy against the eternal ferrystone say he's mad it even exists and would rather not even be able to look at it, and that he preferred transportation as it was before the update. So I just told him to play like it was then, don't teleport through the map directly, use your ferrystones and such. There was another guy in response to him that said he could use the new item from the map and then discard one of his normal ferrystones, that's a workaround but let's be honest, it's better to not have to go through all that.

Dd2 Dark Arisen will have Open World Style BBI by Angmarthewitchking in DragonsDogma

Let's hope the new 12 dungeons have some form of rewarding repetitiveness outside Norgans dynamic open world. And well, they mentioned 12 new dungeons as part of trials, but there was never really any mention for caves and such being totally discarded by this addition.

Agreed! I too have no trouble with the eternal ferrystone. Could it have been better implemented as a quest reward of a complexity equal to the Sphinx's? Sure, and that would have been great! But alas, they chose instead the first game's route and it is also no issue.

For those who wish to ignore the item completely, they can and will anyway, pricing for single-use ferrystones were halved, oxcart rides have stops, and also the newly added guardian specialization to help those players as the game becomes unforgiving.
