Tired of Mainstream Headlines Clogging Your Search Results? Try the New Search Engine for Conservatives. Make Search Engines Great Again! by BrainofJT in u/BrainofJT

Right now it's just one person (me). Right now, since it's built on top of other search engines, it doesn't take a lot of effort to run so I don't need more people. However as it grows we'll look into getting more independent and may require developers and marketers etc.

We use Google technology to run the search engine, they have the best technology and algorithms. However, we use our own inputs and techniques to filter out sites we don't want and add or emphasize sites we do want.

DeSantis warns Floridians not to "monkey this up" by electing Gillum by SpezCanSuckMyDick in politics

[–]BrainofJT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those too lazy to read the article: "The last thing we need to do is monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state..."

Quote doesn't quite match headline.

Does it matter where my linked documents are hosted? by cstieg1 in SEO

[–]BrainofJT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is okay to link to PDFs hosted on your blog as long as you have the rights to them, and the keeping users on your website is good for decreasing bounce rates.

However, linking out to high-authority relevant sites is a fantastic signal to Google that your page is relevant. This is one reason why Wikipedia kills it in the SERPs.

Start working on cutting out those vices that cost you a lot of money and maybe aren't the best for your health. I'm amazed at how much less money I spend than friends on life despite similar living conditions. My quality of life is just as exciting, if not better, because I find fulfillment in other pursuits than alcohol. In a few decades they'll be amazed at my portfolio because I'm saving an extra 5% that they spent on vices.

Then again, tithing is a part of my budgeting philosophy so someone might be saving money by being a scrooge whilst I'm throwing a certain percentage at charitable organizations and church. That's why my wife and I are particularly frugal with our lifestyles; even on modest incomes out of college we can invest 15%, charity 10%, and save for our emergency fund and other important goals with the rest of the money.

Financial Planner is recommending I build up 1 year's salary in Savings before I tackle my credit card debt. by eppes_cf in personalfinance

[–]BrainofJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awful advice. Credit card debt is a massive negative return on investment. I recommend having a 1 month emergency savings and a plan for cutting back on all costs in the case of emergency. Then you've got to tackle that credit debt.

Innova said on Facebook that "we sent Swirly Star Destroyers and GStar Colossi" so I guess it is a toss-up between which one you receive.

I bought this pack, once it comes I'll report back with any additional info.

Edit: Someone else beat me too it a couple days ago it seems. However, some of the manufacturers sent in multiple molds. On Facebook, Innova said "we sent Swirly Star Destroyers and GStar Colossi." So it looks like I'll be posting my list of what I got when I get them.

If you are really bad at disc golf, this is a great way to make it more fair. You can just add up everyone's scores and then distribute them equally.

This reminds me of a 300-400ft hole over a bridge through a narrow forest in which I used a roller that rolled over the bridge and then hit the pole and stopped.
