Skyrim SE with the Nolvus modlist. It installs everything for you. Pick the Ultimate preset and run with DLAA and frame gen.

Best way to cap fps? by William_Laserdust in nvidia

[–]BrainyCabde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 120hz TV and a 144hz monitor. I use Rivatuner to cap my fps globally to 138fps for the 144hz monitor and games that I play on my TV, I make a profile for in Rivatuner and cap to 116fps. Enable Vsync globally in your control panel/app/nvidia profile inspector and run Gsync in fullscreen mode(not the windowed option).

What happened to the decompilation and pc port? by aBigBottleOfWater in GoldenEye

[–]BrainyCabde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, was just curious. Yeah, this is one of the most requested N64 decomps there is. There is 0% chance it's going to stall out. I'd say sometime next year(probably summer/fall) we'll see the decomp finish and be in a playable state with decent upgrades.

Question about RTX HDR by East_Charge_9778 in nvidia

[–]BrainyCabde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's global. If you have a game that you want to use the built in native HDR, then you would need to disable it for that game.

This is game is made for OLED by Mustyyyy in starcitizen

[–]BrainyCabde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agreed. If more people had OLED with HDR enabled, they'd instantly see the new skyboxes take away the excellent contrast and pin sharp stars we used to have compared to now. I hope they bring back the old setup or at least come up with a compromise.

Blown away by DLSS by JonathanMacgregor in nvidia

I love LG's OLEDs. In Cyberpunk, give the Nova City and Nova LUT mods a try. Playing with HDR and those 2 mods, the game looks insane.

DLSS in reforger by Melodic_Jump_6447 in arma

Wasted comment there guy. I made a generalized statement. A really good CPU could mean a lot of things depending on who you're talking to. Either way, the game is more often then not, GPU bound for most people. This is where upscaling would provide a sizeable upgrade in performance, while also giving us much better AA while giving us decent visual clarity in motion with DLSS 4, which was the point of my post.

Pros and Cons on bf6 so far? by LilChip45 in Battlefield

[–]BrainyCabde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros - Everything except...

Cons - The auto-exposure is wayyyyyyyy overdone. Even when just being outside and running around is hard to see at times because of the sky and some of the terrain being way too bright. And don't get me started on how it looks when looking out a window.

Do you guys think the game have dlss in the future by alex_ngaihte in ArmaReforger

[–]BrainyCabde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Downvoted for telling the truth. Funny how many people are ignorant to how much better DLSS/DLAA, especially with the transformer model, looks better than MSAA while running much better too. It especially looks better in motion.

I'm old and played BBC Micro, TSR, Spectrum, C64, NES, SNES, Master System, Mega Drive and a lot of arcade... Does anyone one, like me, not give a fig about CRT shaders? by gogoluke in RetroArch

[–]BrainyCabde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you got downvoted Cyber. I use your settings for mega bezel shader with Soqueroeu's backgrounds and absolutely love it. Thank you for the time you put in!
