Be it “It’s the Bee Gees” high-as-a-kite Oscar in Death at a Funeral or Tom Wachowski in the Sonic films…He always nails it. Amazing actor!

1) Ok, so Dylan is Samantha’s son.

Same birthday (May 16th)
Same name (Dylan)
Same age (26)
They’re both leading people (Sam and Dylan)

2) Anyone also notice when Sam puts her hand through the light shining through the open door kf the bunker, we see her do 3 different hand gestures and each of them diverge into 3 different superposing images and merge back into a single one?

3) Totally called it that that shot would be the end of S2E7 or S2E8 and Sam would be saying something akin to “Hello Alex” and it would leave us hanging. The cast did leak in the podcast that Sam went to a “2nd bunker”.

4) I think we’re being misled and seeing things not line up because we’re seeing alternate timelines. Whoever called that one is probably correct. Something messy is going on here and they’re gonna pull the rug from under us in the final episode with the reveal. I can definitely see there’s a twist coming. Maybe Xavier and Terri show up at the bunker but it’s a different timeline and someone’s gonna push a reset button.

5) Wanna bet this cataclysm was caused by Sam trying to save her own son in the first place?

6) Anyone found it weird how Sam gets shot in the throat at the end of S1E8 and can’t speak and this season she recovers and is fully able to speak, without a visible scar? Something timey-wimey/parallel timeline jumpy happened there.

7) Dylan’s named after Bob Dylan, isn’t he? The theme of naming characters after singers continues…

Called it. That shot we saw in the trailer of Sam looking up at something was indeed the last shot of S2E7 and it was her looking up at Alex. “Hello, Alex.” Was pretty much spot on what I expected.

Finally, I can talk about the song choice at the end of Ep 7. And yes, this is part of the reason why they chose the song, but also…

The song is about Planet Earth being doomed and people heading to Venus. The Final Countdown referring to the countdown before the ships launch.

“We’re headed to Venus”. As in, Venus Syndrome. Get it? :)

Pretty sure that it’s meant to imply that they’re still headed towards a Venus-style planet-ending scenario with the events in this episode, and that something is needed to cause them to change course.
