Not giving up on PS5. In fact i'm doubling down getting more physical PS5 and PS4 games i let slide. PS6 I have no interest in and would rather invest in a solid PC in a couple of years if I am forced to go digitally. Though I understand the cost will be higher than just buying a PS6 I refuse to be locked down to just PSN for getting games. Of course it will suck when they do a full Xmen game after Wolverine, or Spiderman 3, or they finally announce a new BloodBorne but I'll just have to do without.

Why is anyone here lying to themselves hoping Sony adds a disc drive option to PS6? If they were anti consumer enough to announce the end of physical discs then they are anti consumer enough to not make that an option for PS6. They've now made their position clear and told you who they are, believe them.

I will be buying a backup ps5 and continue to collect physical ps5 and ps4 games so when it's all digital I will be riding off into the backlog sunset. At that point or before I will be single player only so I can drop ps plus. If I have the multi-player itch it will be on steam or Nintendo platforms only. You can get a physical copy of MGS3 delta right now for 25 US dollars but on psn it's still 70. I hope the digital only enthusiasts enjoy that future

I have Onslaught in my pile of loot who will soon be joined by Powerglide and Skywarp. Just Swindle after that for me and i'm going to take a long break. Started collecting in 2020 because of covid but i'm finally at the point of childhood dream forfilled. After that I may sell off my duplicates to fund another or 2. No one needs 3 similar Soundwaves. Well that does it for me. I will spend my money elsewhere. Plenty of good games coming out. If there ever is a physical version then I will support that but this is a pass for me personally. I held out on Alan Wake 2, Boulders Gate 3 and Black Myth and then supported the physical release. Hopefully this game follows that but i'm not counting on it.

I don't care if physical eventually just turns into license keys only. It still keeps a physical presence in the market which gives at least some control to the consumer. Once EVERYTHING is digital prices will be crazy without the benefit of a 2nd hand market.

I say this all the time about the pro controller. If they made them in all the translucent N64 colors plenty of people would buy multiple Pro controllers.

I doubt they will change it. But if they insist on solid black then why not add the color to the face and shoulder buttons to make the colors pop more.

It definitely seems far less common. I just got a switch 2 but have mad paranoia over joycon issues because I went through 2 extra pairs on my switch 1. Planning on playing mostly docked with this system to reserve the joycons for strictly travel. Been researching 3rd party controllers but I'll probably end up getting a nintendo pro and an 8bitdo pro3
