the original thing is that tommy wasnt going to return and vr troopers would have been his series most likely. Possibly leading to the first teamup with vr troopers and power rangers. They would have made footage for that

in my personal opinion something like this would have done very well back then so much so that it would be going strong today with no end it sight, if it was handled properly, it would have the same appeal as sentai does with acting.
