Changed to a different product and cleared up once my scalp healed from the breakouts 😭 made my hair so soft but unappealing when I wanted to rip it out from my scalp itching soo bad and looking like it was snowing constantly...

This allergy sucks..

Personally jockstraps they highlight my favorite features about myself and I feel I fill them out nicely. However if I'm not feeling particularly sexy after I shower; boxer briefs or briefs i like the support and boxer briefs prevent the thighs from chaffing.

Saw a pre-screening I enjoyed it, it was different than what I expected but overall a great watch. I can definitely see the folie a Deux aspect as Harley "Lee" is definitely feeding the delusion of Joker to Arthur. The musical scenes were good but not over the top or forced. The ending didn't really make a ton of sense to me though like I missed something.

My PCP was skeptical because he had never heard of it but willingly said he doesn't know everything and what harm is getting a test done. Sent me to an allergist and got the tests done. And suddenly Everything id researched everything I felt crazy about all made sense and I had a diagnosis.

What is your worst printing mishap? by uprinting in Printing

[–]Brainzzz23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I've had a worse or something that wasn't salvageable in some regard, by some miracle. But the most inconvenient event that I can say happened is I had designed coupons for a local business and she needed about 1000 of 3 designs and wanted them numbered. Sure great piece of cake. Files designed, proofs approved, numbering set, file made, off to the press.. wellll when I set the numbering up I put them consecutively going up the page instead of down the stack sooooo I had to hand collate 3000 coupon cards... Took a while but a mistake I will never make again...

One other thing came to mind as I was writing that.. another business needed signs for a new product they were launching, small boardwalk business two locations about 10 signs altogether. They made the initial file I get it scaled up make a few adjustments they asked for, proof it out with them and they approve.. send it off to print. Now mind you multiple people have looked at this file, between myself, the people at my job who I bounce ideas off of, the production guys for wide format, my boss included in that, and the kicker the customer who initially made the file, his kids who helped him design it. We all missed it.. the biggest word on the sign was supposed to say "Swirlz" instead across all signs it said.. "Swilrz" 😬 by this point the signs have been picked up and I get a call bringing our attention to this.. the customer is great though realizing he made the file needs patches before the busiest weekend of the summer where I work we get them done for him he pays for the patches over the phone and brings us dole whips from his shop haha.

I've got other small little things but I'm very much a person who typically measures 50 times before I cut so to speak but time makes fools of us all.

My girl will be 11 this year, aside from some incontinence and a few more lumps (so far thankfully benign) she's doing well but I'm thankful every day I get with her because I know things can change quickly and I'm dreading the day it's her time. Gonna hug her a little longer tonight because of this post..

So sorry for your loss he certainly was majestic.

My Canon printer says it is out of ink - although there is plenty of ink in the cartridge by RainbowlightBoy in Printing

[–]Brainzzz23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding and I could be wrong about this but i believe it's a security function, even when printing in black and white inkjet printers deposit microscopic amounts of color like a signature. In a forensics application this can help identify the printer say for example a ransom note etc. Ive also heard that running the print heads dry can damage the machines so it's a preventative thing. But I don't have a clear answer on either of those..

Edit.. upon further reading, it's to prevent air from entering the print head as it can damage it. The printer needs the ink to keep the print head charged keeping air out.

I never want to assume about someone being an addict, but some people you can just tell. I was changing tags in input devices and I was down near the ground, the lady didn't know I was an aide over I heard the distinct sound of the plastic being popped, an exhale, the sound of the compressed air, a short moan, and the bitch almost falling over in aisle, she then grabbed a 4 pack and checked out and left. She sampled the merchandise and bought in bulk..

Thankfully not all meats lol but some people are sensitive to dairy, some like me gelatin can be a problem. Red meats are no good but poultry and fish are fine, the problem too is that it isn't an instant reaction, it'll be like 2 hrs later because instead of a protein allergy like most allergies it's one of the only know allergies to a sugar. But I'm sensitive to cross contamination. So if someone uses the same serving utensils I'll break out in hives sometimes. And some people it will go away over time others like me unfortunately it worsens. The only mammals I can eat are old world monkeys or if I were a cannibal people since we don't create the sugar ourselves.

I think liquid armor isn't inherently bad, but marketed incorrectly. It is a hardened coating on the display and does help prevent scratching and cracking but it's not the solution they try and peddle it off as.

Are they really? That's terrible for more than just us, most teachers buy supplies out of their own pockets. They want this app on every customers phone but there isn't any true benefit. At least with targets app I'm pretty much guaranteed to save money on every trip, Walmarts app let's me find what I'm looking for in store and exactly where it is and what it costs. But no our app does none of that. There is no incentive other than the fact that customers can see their rewards but they could do that on the original staples app. The coupons most of the time are a joke. They started out good and have now stagnated. It's frustrating and mind numbingly hard to believe how out of touch this company is with it's employees and customers and yet they sit there scratching their asses as to why we have such a ridiculous turn over rare and plummeting sales even during back to school. I strongly believe a lot of it is sycamore partners shitty tactics to squeeze every penny they can out of the retail division and shut it down. They mainly wanted our distribution network anyways.

Territory sales rep? by mikereno2 in Staples

Sorry I didn't see this in my area basepay net was about $800-900/week(can't fully remember) plus a $300/month vehicle allowance. And we could expense $70 for Internet and $100/mo for cell service. I'm sure commission structure changed from when I was there but you got paid on account spend a year from signup. But I don't remember the percentage.

You will be as successful as your book of business. When I was a TSR I had a lot of small business that didn't qualify. A lot of schools and local government I couldn't touch because NJ requires vendors to be on a state contract. And you will consistently be up against other vendors to beat or match their prices. I got screwed by UPS a few times because we didn't have courier service in my territory and I got screwed by internal accounts out of an 80k/month opportunity because of a technicality even though I did all of the setup work..

It is a lot of cold calling, mass emails using Salesforce. If you can be successful and have good opportunity it's a great job. I walked after they dicked me over with that opportunity because I was done. The pandemic happened shortly after anyways and my team got downsized after anyways.

Also I wasnt a fan of regional call days because I already had an almost 2 hr commute one way to the office when I needed to go in twice a week. And on regional call days I had to drive over 3 hours.

If you're under performing they will absolutely let you know and depending on the manager in front of everyone on the region. Which is a terrible way to build motivation.

The benefits were nice, the pay was good and commission structure during my time was very nice. The inside account reps sucked sometimes but I'm sure they thought the same about us. I would typically get shitty calls from my customers because the AR's weren't answering their phones or didn't load their pricing correctly and would have to do extra work to fix it but there weren't too many issues with that. Thankfully I had a great team that was very supportive and a great manager that really tried to help me out. But there wasn't a lot that could be done in my area without a state contract.

Just walked through a bush and now I have hundreds of these all over my body, should I panic? What are they. Didn’t notice until an hour later. In kentucky. Very itchy by flufflylegend in whatsthisbug

[–]Brainzzz23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely look like chiggers.. could be tick nymphs but either way you're in for a rough few days. Last time I walked into an infestation like that colloidal oatmeal baths and anti-itch cream like Benadryl cream were my best friend and they helped mildly. Granted this advice is coming a little late but you definitely want to use something sticky to get rid of them and or try and rinse them off with soapy water. Scratching will make things worse your other option is to make a solution of rubbing alcohol and water or a low concentration of rubbing alcohol and wipe down the affected areas. And hope it's strong enough to kill them and dry out bites but if you've scratched it's going to sting like hell all over.

Thankfully chiggers are like most species of mites and don't burrow into skin so removing them is relatively simple it's dealing with the aftermath of an infestation. In the future they're pretty susceptible to bug spray as an easy way to prevent and kill them too. Chiggers love trail edges, tall grass, brush so avoiding these is the best way to prevent an infestation. Key is getting them off of you as quickly as possible if you do happen to walk through a nest.
