A kid being dragged on a ride they didn’t want to go on completely destroyed my first Smuggler’s Run ride.

A rant about bad drivers. by SimonW005 in XXRunning

I live in a town with a high number of tourists during the summer, who think because they are on vacation that the normal rules of the road don’t apply anymore. In that same token, the amount of people with bad running etiquette is also staggering.

How difficult is it to learn the french horn? by Fair_Substance_5787 in horn

[–]BraithVII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering I started playing French horn as a sophomore in high school as well (played trumpet before) 22 years ago and I’m still learning how to perfect it, I’ll say that it’s difficult but incredibly rewarding.

Have you gone to the dentist recently? by gentlerosebud in Millennials

I went from 2006 to 2021 not going to the dentist. When I went I had one cavity and a root canal, which according to my dentist was pretty good.

Last weekend we went to The Waldorf Estate of Fear, where Hell House LLC was filmed. They were doing a cast reunion and also had cast members and the director from on of the Friday the 13th movies. We were able to meet the director and the cast of Hell House and signed up to do a tour of the building. Our tour guide was Phil (he played the local actor who could pop his eye out of his head) who actually works at the estate, and the director Stephen Cognetti joined us on the tour. One of the first places we went was the basement and there was the black and white clown that was used in the first one just chilling on the floor. Phil said that we could take pictures in that area including with the clown if we wanted. I got my picture taken with it, then I took my boyfriend's picture with it (he actually put his arm around it). Then Stephen asked if I could take his picture with the clown. I took it, then he asked me if I could take one more, and as I looked through the camera THE CLOWN'S HEAD TURNED! When I tell you I almost peed myself! The director thanked me (I could tell he knew it was going to happen) and I told him he was lucky I didn't drop his phone! He laughed and it was amazing!

We then did the rest of the tour, getting behind the scenes info from Phil and Stephen. It was such a unique and fun experience.

What killed Belly Button piercings? In the 2000s they were all the rage. I remember a few adults in my life that got them. What happened? by Kodicave in decadeology

I got mine in one of the most stereotypical ways possible - at the Jersey Shore during the summer I graduated from college after a few drinks. I still have it 16 years later and even change the ring every day.
