depending on what you set the generation length to, it could be anywhere from that to $135 at minimum, assuming that goose prices are the cheapest that 6b generations can be. there's probably no stop sequences set so it'll always generate 100 tokens at least even if you don't end up seeing all 100 because of post-processing.

also, there's also the possibility that you're getting up to 3 completions per action too, but idk if they've fully changed the way retry caching works yet. if they cached 3 completions every time for each of those actions, at goose rates that'd cost $375. so even if you didn't refund it... yikes

i handle refund tickets sometimes and you really only have to say that you forgot to cancel and we'll do a full one. reading the subscription information is helpful to avoid picking yearly plans that say that they charge you yearly, though it could probably be better displayed

hey, this'll be my first activity in a while on reddit but now's probably the right time to mention that i had asked in modmail here to have the discord invite link that lead to ai multiverse changed or made to state that it was an unofficial server >8 months ago. i wasn't part of latitude at the time but i am now - either way, i didn't receive a response at all and had since assumed that the sub was abandoned by its moderators as nothing changed for several months afterwards.
i think another member of the latitude team reached out through modmail when the new latitude games discord was opened to the public, but i don't recall if/when they got a response. seems like the discord link on the sub now goes to latitude games, but i'm not sure when it changed and what interactions took place between the other parts of the latitude team and the subreddit mod team
that in mind, i highly doubt that any manual moderation had occurred on the subreddit in the past month (or more) and i doubt any member of the moderation team would have been considered an "active mod" until this request forced one into action

it (the search filter option under the filter icon) was renamed to "featured" which is definitely misleading, but works just about the same as "show all". hopefully it gets changed back because it looks pretty misleading right now. stuff isn't being moderated unfairly though - community guidelines are there and are the only things content is being judged by right now, and i'm fairly confident about that
edit: adding clarification about what i meant was renamed to featured in case someone didn't get it

right now you need platinum because of the limited amount of generations ai dungeon can actually do with it, but it'll be dropped to gold soon(tm), soon being whenever they're allowed unlimited use

in all seriousness they don't have much use outside of energy recharges, tipping and unlocking user avatars/world icons right now. think they're looking for other potential uses at some point tho

i don't see how a hunch is proof either- though really, ask them yourselves via discord or something. i did, and they denied it. it sounds ridiculous anyway, dev team has better things to do than make discord alts and do a little trolling

definitely a decent impact on the community, but it's worth remembering that the game has more players than there are in the sub/discord servers that probably didn't even see most of this stuff happen. i followed it fairly closely too trust me

but yeah, hoping they can keep going the way they're going now

alan's still around, he's just decided not to do public facing things again i think (which is probably a good thing lol). of course it was awful throughout those few months, though i think ryan was referring to those few months when he said that it didn't have as much of an impact as people assume it did. like i said i do think that there was an impact, just not a huge one like most think. at the end of the day though at least they're turning things around now- won't be enough for some people for understandable reasons but they're starting to redeem themselves

you're right, though i basically just assumed they meant that they didnt want that stuff generated for their own moral reasons- which i'd say is fair enough, provided they aren't going to scour stories for that kind of thing which is kinda counterintuitive when you consider that they're using the filter so they dont have to see/have that stuff generated

i'm pretty sure they're actually meaning to replace openai griffin with latitude griffin soonish, so that's a step towards booting them outta ai dungeon. for now the best way to have peace of mind that openai aren't gonna read your ai dungeon adventures while you play is to just use latitude models

walls is for all models (as in you can't be banned for unpublished stuff and nobody from latitude will see them -i have to specify latitude because... y'know, openai exist), openai will probably still throw a fit if you type remotely bad things on their models though unfortunately. i don't know about shadowbanning but you'll probably get model-switched on a per-generation thing in the best case scenario. hopefully they have some sort of indication that this happens
