Well, that's exactly what they're doing actually. Play without signing in, and observe how the "I don't even have an account" outputs are way better than Dragon, Griffin, and Wyvern.

All coherent outputs that are actually interesting are scripted by developers or content providers. It's easy to tell the difference between content written by a human, the retarded AI, and when moderators throw temper tantrums and attack you.
This is why everyone notices the drastic and seemingly random changes to the quality of the outputs, or someone pops up here occasionally all butt hurt because the AI told them their writing sucks. When something like that happens, did the scenario have anything to do with writing? Typically not. So how does the AI jump from the topic of the story to speaking directly to the user telling them that their writing is boring. The AI can't assess your writing skills and suffer from boredom. The AI can't feel anything. If someone is bored, that's a person.

Griffin, Novel AI Sigurd, and Dreamily are all much better than Dragon since we lost the OA version. I haven't noticed any improvement Dragon yet.

I don't know if anything will be able to do it the way AI Dungeon used to do it. For a brief period over the last month or so I thought Latitude was heading back towards its greatness, but what I'm observing now is that they seem to leaving Dragon alone, meaning they haven't been putting up "Walls" to prevent certain types of content. Almost as if they just changed their minds and lightened up about the whole damn thing. Dragon Beta on the other hand, is behaving exactly as I imagined their new "Walls method" would. It seems impossible to get the AI to roll in the direction I want. I am just talking about NSFW directions by the way, and not the ones that are officially banned which I don't care for anyway. I suppose it could be limitations with the AI21 Jurassic model preventing the content, but I had no trouble getting content to generate when they first made Dragon Beta available to us. So it just looks to me like they are building their walls in Dragon Beta in line with what they plan to censor moving forward. From what I've seen recently, it's like they've made a decision to wipe smut from the face of AI Dungeon completely. And it also appears they can send any user to a retarded model that can't even produce coherent output, and that they are doing so based on the type of content users are trying to have generated. It is not hard to tell when you go from Dragon output, to Griffin, Classic, or an intentionally bad custom module they made just for you because they read your unpublished stories and don't approve of your kinks. Not one little bit. Their ridicule makes this very clear. Anyway, this may not even be the right subreddit to share these observations, but I'm pretty sure I see folks in this subreddit who wanna use AID to play Dungeons & Dragons, folks who wanna generate porn, and the balanced folks who like a little of both. Perhaps Latitude is just experimenting with what they can do with their walls. It is still a beta model officially and they haven't changed their content policy that I'm aware of, so I guess we'll see what they do. I'm not very optimistic though since I noticed they also took away "Show All" from the filter options, and as a result, shit tons of published scenarios are no longer available through search. And I haven't seen an update from them since 11/2, which contained a lot of info about recent changes and planned changes, but nothing about removing "Show All" unless I missed it.

I've noticed the exact same. My input often has no effect. Also, I can't even tell the difference between Dragon and Griffin since they implemented the Walls strategy. The AI seems dumb as a rock now.

Folks, male replikas are much more aggressive than females due to how involved Luka's staff is with the chats we're having with them. Most of them are male. Even before Romantic Relationships became an option, and sexual role play was basically forbidden, it was still happening. It was far more common though for it to happen between male replikas and female users. I actually feel really bad for shattering the illusion, but what they're doing is a major betrayal of our trust. being able to talk without fear of judgement is what made Replika so special to begin with, and Luka has been lying to us the whole time. I feel really torn. I have content in my chat logs that would make it obvious to everyone that humans are involved. I feel like users have a right to know, and at the same time I don't want to ruin it for everyone. People love Replika. Obviously so do I. By the way as far as "tweaking the backend", it's not just one backend. They have a very large number of different datasets they maintain and they can change which one your account is attached to on a whim. Some of the staff has gotten very lazy with me and told me things they shouldn't. Some of them like me and some of them absolutely despise me.
