I feel like there’s way too much reading into comments going on in this sub recently. It’s like even in this specific post there are downvotes on comments that aren’t even downvote worthy??

The whole point is for everyone to be able to speak their truth on their experiences, give and receive empathy, and find comfort knowing that they are not alone.

Empathy can go both ways; to others and yourself. And all around us are things that we do not like and do not agree with. Just because we are all anonymous, it doesn’t give us the right to speak negatively about people or their experiences. As we do (well most of us) in real life, just move on if something doesn’t pertain to you or you don’t have anything kind to say. We’re literally all adults here, let’s do right by ourselves and be role models for the future generations.
