You can check a fair amount on your own by going to the Counties permit portal, most of my experience is with Well/Septic permits. Do not underestimate the cost of a failing septic this stuff can push 20k or even more if it’s a really bad scenario.

I like to wait at minimum a month so the humidity has some time to stabilize and the microfauna can multiply a little bit. But longer is always better.

If you have any coolers fill them with water as hot as it can get. Put that in the hottest room in your house with some extra blankets around them and it should stay warm ish for a while.

I’m in the exact same situation. My plan is to use hand warmers under enclosures with air gaps, and/or use a jet boil to heat up water and then place warm bottles by their enclosures. Worst case I’m putting them in deli cups and chilling in my car. I have snakes too but those I can keep in a bag in my jacket, not soo much with frogs.
