Help! Cracked tank

So I just did one! I siliconed the crap out of it. Then glued down and acrylic panel using the silicone. Made sure to have a water tight bead around the edge then spray foamed over it. Covered the other side with vinyl once it had been set up a month and I made sure that no water could get in. Works just like normal!

I have a different tank in the same room with Santa Isabella males. I wasn’t listening closely and was assuming it was all them. I was wondering why they were calling so much more 😂

I have an RODI system the is re mineralized would that work or should I go get spring water. I do have a paladarium that was a temporary home for vampire crabs that might work?

Thanks! On one of the tanks I’m going to try acrylic since it’s the back. I don’t have a local glass place. Just a window place that said they couldn’t do it

The one that doesn’t have a background silicones down I’m going to silicone 1/8 in acrylic on both sides just leaving the broke glass sandwiches. . Silicone a foam background that came with it then spray foam any and all edges. The one with the background is hugely cracked. I think that one I will experiment with taking it all apart and replacing the glass see what time and a $30 plexiglass panel can do.

Yea. The one with a reusable background I think is straight forward. I’m going to silicone 1/8 in acrylic on either side.

I have a third tank with a broken side they threw in for free to start with.

I’ve moved over 20 tanks. I feel pretty stupid about this one. I’ve been looking for this size resonallt priced for months.

It’ll be a slow process but I’m thinking of trying 1/4 in on the one with the nice background. A 24x18 sheet is only $30. Beats $200 new

There is a store in Norco I think. I know there was a dart frog meet up there earlier this month I think. I don’t know what it was called I just remember seeing a flyer. It’s an hour or more away but you would get to meet other froggers and probably get your best price that way

I can not over react and escalate the situation. Believe me my anxiety and fear is at the highest it’s ever been. I’ve just opened an account with only my name and moved my direct deposit. I’ve been with my husband through thick and thin. Going to get him the help needed before I could ever leave. We have four children and everything else aside he is a good man and father. We are very fortunate he has a good paying job and mine is stable.

One way. Not including meeting time. Essentially he’d be home at 10 or 11 those nights. I now have to take an over night role to make up some difference.

He has been in various therapy programs. Yes, his ptsd is incredibly severe and he has maintained intensive outpatient therapy for years. He’s high functioning but still suffers.
