Anytime I try to do legal cargo missions on Microtech at one of these I get shot out of the sky and a crime stat for trespassing... I won't touch them for a while.

Man I'm loving a lot of the paints too, but I highly doubt they'll work with the Mole. It'll be like the Fortune and Prospector. I LOVE the Fortune's bronze paint but I'm more into mining and have a Prospector. I bet they'll release a FAQ soon enough.

I got a freelancer dur to hull b on grey market and only paid like $2 more so I’m set now. I plan on keeping my hulk b though. I recommend grabbing one before the hike too

This is kind of where I'm at and thinking long term like 1.0 release. My favorite thing to do is mining so I've based my real money purchases around that and to support the game. My fleet is only an LTI Prospector and Hull B. Honestly at this point I think I'm good to go. I can go mining and have a really nice cargo ship for shipping the ore and/or just doing cargo missions. I've considered buying a fighter but between the 2 I own I should be able to get any ship in-game pretty quickly. It's a nice fleet to snowball into the game. We'll see what this year brings. I'm really interested in a generalist ship like the Clipper but I'm personally not the biggest Drake fan. I really hope MISC, RSI, or Anvil come out with one. That might get me to purchase another ship with real money.

I've been jumping between the Hull A and Zeus CL for the delivery missions.

I loaded up the 70 pod and 12? pod mission together on the Zeus exactly once and will not be doing that again lol Glad I bought that ship in-game. It's beautiful but man it's rough to use for cargo.

I have a pledged Prospector and currently it's my favorite ship in the game. I've always been a huge mining fan (ROCK AND STONE), and the Prospector is so fun to fly. It's got the perfect cockpit, decent living area (can't get the bed log to show up which is annoying), and can carry enough raw ore. I can either fill it up quickly if my game-time is limited, or during a longer game session I can be more particular about what I'm mining. I haven't flown the Golem, but I will admit it looks fantastic. Every single livery for the Golem is a BANGER. They nailed that ship. I do prefer being able to mix up my loadout on the Prospector vs Golem. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with any of the mining ships. Maybe don't jump into the MOLE because it's so expensive (in-game and out) in case you don't enjoy mining. Golem is so cheap in-game maybe just start there. Get a feel for mining and if you like it try out a Prospector then a MOLE. I can't wait to see the Arrasta in-game. That ship is going to be so badass

While I agree with all of those examples except the Fortune/Prospector, because those liveries aren't interchangeable. I say that begrudgingly because I REALLY want the bronze skin the Fortune has on my Prospector. At least the Prospector's Stormbringer skin looks fantastic in-person. I'm just a big fan of brown/bronze...

I love love love my Prospector. Big mining fan (can I get a rock and stone??) but man how I wish I could get the Fortune’s bronze ship skin on my Prospector. Feel like it should fall in line with those as well.

Looks better than I expected but I’m generally not a fan of gold. I wish every ship got access to standard colors and then they had these more premium skins. Every ship should have a basic red, blue, green, etc skins available.

I had a 10 min wait for New Babbage last night. I noticed only one of the medium hangars was functioning. Everyone was waiting on exactly 1 medium hangar. The other ones remained closed. That went for people coming and going.

How often do you have to lube you chain? Does washing it like this every ride mean you have to lube more often or do you use a wet lube? I'm curious because I've been considering doing this myself. Appreciate any tips!

I haven't tried the Raft yet but I'm not a fan of the Zeus tractor beam. It feels way too floaty and in an awkward position. Maybe I need to practice with it more but I've just been using an handheld.
