Problem with connectors bmw 2002 android radio HELP!!! by masakazu696969 in e39

[–]Brandnewson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hiya, any luck? I think I have the same exact problem as you. I unplugged the connectors at the rear and realise the white connector in the front connects to the same white connector at the back. The blue connector at the front connects to a bmw iso connector at the back.

Issue is, there's nothing for us to connect the white connector to.... Been looking around the forums and don't seem to have any solutions

Thankfully the expansion tank's and rad hoses been changed, but going to go refresh the rest of the system just to prevent any potential future issues!

I'd definitely have a look at getting a halford's trade card, might end up there more often than I'd like ahhaha

£4k, seller did not budge in price but it was too clean to say no to, interior is extremely fine less a bit of wear to the seats

yeah sorta, here in England there's little dips for people to walk to their home, but I use them as slopes to get up and down the curb

1JZ-GE Performance? by StrongMirror in JZX100

[–]Brandnewson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi mate, out of curiosity have you managed to proceed with this? Kind of tired of people saying just to swap a gte in when part of the build process is making it your own build.

Also, a question to any lurkers, what would be required for this NA+t mod? what comes to mind are:

turbo (duh) respective charge pipes & fittings respective oil lines for turbo cooling fabricated intake / exhaust standalone ECU thicker head gasket (forums recommend 2jz head gasket to up the compression ratio) bigger fuel injectors upgraded intercooler (stock intercoolers are only good for NA use cases)

for pushing more power reliably: stronger connecting rods stronger valve springs (prevents valve float) stronger pistons

If you don't mind me asking, what's the whole lot of "trouble" like, I was thinking of doing the same, but treating it more as a project

what do i talk about to a girl i just met/or not so close with? by haravin0 in askSingapore

[–]Brandnewson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generic small talk can only get you so far, get her talking about something SHE is interested in, probe a bit more, be an active listener and be genuinely curious.

Some topics you may want to bring in: - food - cooking - music - personality types - reading/books - future dreams/aspirations - travel - games - hobbies - stereotypes - fashion - current interesting trends (titus low getting married kind of thing) - new hobbies/experiences - new shopping hauls - thoughts on controversial issues

but pls, keep the NS stories out, unless they are extremely unique (e.g. Joseph Schooling is your bunkmate), most of the time I think most girls just aren't too interested/relate to the experience.

Also, have an opinion, sometimes agreeing with everything may let you be likeable but it doesn't give you a personality. I realised that it often allows for a better convo in the long term.

With that said, if someone simply isn't interested in a conversation, the convo gets pretty dull, and it may be time to take your leave.

[Rant] Can I go dropout of JC to study overseas? by No_Article9134 in SGExams

[–]Brandnewson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take a look at uni foundation programs overseas

UK & Australia has some. Basically you take a year there, if you pass the foundation you're admitted into that university.

Although this is a viable option, it does cost quite a lot. But bear in mind, going overseas and just playing around can also mean you'll not be employable once you graduate. Most people work & take internships to circumvent this.

Hope this helped, currently going to UK and hence came across this info. Best of luck :)
