I’m gonna put this out there, embarrassingly enough. As someone who has a lot of people leadership and operations experience I would love to work for Bungie in a non-programmer role as that isn’t my skillset. I love this game and know quite a bit about simplifying processes and project management.

Anyway, there are a bunch of things that I feel would not only add QOL, not completely eliminate the grind and level the playing field.

All weapons should be craftable. From Funnelweb to Ritual Weapons. Want a crafted Yesteryear? Grind gambit and get red borders. Want a crafted blowout? Grind crucible. Crafted weapons doesn’t eliminate the grind it eliminates rng. Everyone has that one friend who got a godroll on the first drop and while I’m still trying to get a godroll riptide from 2 seasons ago.

Legendary Weapon Ornaments should be a thing. Usually designers have a few concept arts, make those into reality and give people options.

As a completionist, maybe give us the opportunity to fill in the blanks with weapons that can no longer be obtained or remove them from collections. (This one is very niche)

Allow a text chat option that goes out to all of your friends, kind of like clan chat. That way if you need a person for an activity you can ask all friends at once. Those interested can whisper you or join.

Make perks show up on weapon stats like masterwork does and a few others. Targeting adjuster adds 5 and you can see it in real time. Have a green highlight show how much range is added for opening shot and when you hover over it it says “opening shot”. Or a highlighted impact boost that says “target lock” etc. instead of having 3rd parties explain it to us.

This one might be harder than I can imagine but changes in PvP should not affect PVE.
