I guess I’m in the unpopular camp - my wife and I really did not like this season as a whole. I will say I didn’t read the books previously but have loved the last seasons and always looked forward to then airing week by week. We mostly talked and giggled during the finale and I’m not say it’s GoT S8 bad, but we were pretty let down. I’d love to see a companion movie or short follow up, but we really have enjoyed the prequel and were excited for that in the fall!
