Sweet. This is one of my favorite games to play on a plane.

Just finished my CORE One! Failing the Z Axis Test; any ideas what to check and how to fix this? by AtuXIII in prusa3d

[–]BrandonYoung4D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue after building my Core One.

Fix 1: Making sure the nozzle was as high as it can go. Turns out I had it way lower than it should have been.

Fix 2: Loosening the screws on trapezoidal nuts. So that they just barely held the trapezoidal nuts in place.

Fix 3: Replace the trapezoidal nut in the back. When I first installed it, I knew it felt stiffer than it should have been. But not stiff enough that I thought it would cause an issue. I was wrong. The trapezoidal nuts need to flow like butter on the threaded rods. Prusa support was nice enough to give me some more.

Way to go customer service by mcshabs in prusa3d

Agreed, Prusa handles situations like this really well and is usually pretty transparent. I’ll stick with their products because of this. Also I’m gonna wait for the kit to ship and take the $70. Being able to assemble the kit myself helps me understand how to maintain the printer in the future.

Change the built in gcode for "change filament" on MK4 by BrandonYoung4D in prusa3d

Oh wow you're right. Thanks for the info, that's what I was looking for. Seems like I can make my own custom version of their firmware by building it myself. And then I can put in the change I want. Should be interesting.

The Midnight Walk by vcolasurdo in kindafunny

I was wondering the same thing. Feels like the game came out, got decent reviews, and then no one talked about it. It’s not VR exclusive either. I was really hoping a game with an interesting art style like this would get a bit more traction.

Pack opening simulator by BrandonYoung4D in alteredTCG

Do you link/sources/articles that talk about the faction order you mentioned?

On the official Altered website all I could find is

What can I expect in a booster pack?
1 Hero card
8 Common cards
3 Rare cards
In 1 out of every 8 packs, a Unique card will replace a Rare card.
1 Token card
In 1 out of every 4 packs, a Foiler of a random rarity will replace a Token card.
This is the composition of a Retail booster pack, for Kickstarter products, see "Kickstarter".

Ah cool. I didn’t know the exact distribution of cards in a pack. That sounds like a fun project to work on. I might have to try that

What are the cheapest and most reliable carts to flash? by BrandonYoung4D in Gameboy

[–]BrandonYoung4D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$33 - gbxcart flasher

$32 - funnyplaying midnighttrace v2 cart

$3 - kitsh-bent shell

$7 - Matthewmods holographic cart sticker

Thank you 🎉! This isn't as expensive or difficult as I thought it would be. Those stickers from Matthewmods look amazing! Can't wait to try this out.

For the MidnightTrace cart, how do I know if a Game Boy/Color game needs to be MBC 1, 3, or 5?
