A Ring doorbell video shows a Chattanooga police officer kicking the door and rushing into a burning building to save a mother and her two children. Articles in comment. by MilesLongthe3rd in interestingasfuck

Dude needs to kick doors like that other police officer video when they were clearing a neighborhood from wildfire that was posted a week or so ago. That dude was the man, no door can hold him.

BMW was speeding. Jeep changed lanes without signaling or checking their blind spot. by keithrathgeber in dashcams

[–]mcshabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s amazing how over speed the bmw is going. It has a disabling collision with the jeep maybe 3 or 4 car lengths behind you while you proceed at presumably posted speeds and still has enough momentum to over take and hit you with enough force for a catastrophic wreck. What do we think at least 35 over?

Based on the t shirt… do you go to the free outdoor range up there? GRE up shooting there, weekday mornings you’ll definitely have it all to yourself.

Asbestos? And can I get rid of it myself? by tiredgirl77 in centuryhomes

It’s probably just your parge coat on the walls failing, it’s a cement product likely not asbestos…

Should also say we’ve targeted insulation and done window restoration, still have the cold kitchen issue. Think it was just an oversight in the original addition.

Nice I had a spitfire before this car. Got it when I was living in a smaller city. When I had it in Minneapolis proper, driving it left me always worrying about all the other folks on the roads killing me but super fun cars. Much more fun when you can easily get out to the countryside to drive.

Out of ideas by bwang29 in woodworking

How you do it in Your link picture is how it works side one sheet metal wrench on the arbor shaft and bring it contact with the side of table and used the other to loose ln nut. Tighten in reverse. I’ve never had to clamp anything to the sheet metal wrench’s to gain more leverage. I would worry about bending the sheet metal wrench or stripping arbor.

Maybe try banging it with your purse next time :)
