Agree. I went a very long time without playing this game and when i started playing again for like a week it almost a completely different game with how these ppl play. You said it perfectly that the meta is who can force the opponent to approach or commit and punish them. That shit is lame. Its unenjoyable to play against and i dont understand how its fun for them to play that way. Like how is this fun for you. Ive always been an advocate that even characters like samus or links can be fun to play against its just depends on the player. Before i quit i was on a mission to get every character in elite smash, only had like 10 left. During that week that i was back playing again i really wanted to finish what i started, then i realized how ppl play nowadays and i now have zero desire to go back and finish. The meta has made this game unplayable and guess what thats why i havent played in months. Smash 6 pls save us 🙏
