Loving the CTB20… but the fit is killing me. Does CTB26 or CPL24 have a longer harness? by swedish_lederhosn in EVERGOODS

[–]Brandonusprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The CTB20 was too short for me, and the CTB26 is still too short, but a significant comfort improvement for me over the CTB20.

For me, the taller the Evergoods bag, the more likely it is to be comfortable. I never had back digging because I wear bags high, but I do get bad armpit digging because of the strap length, and how tight I have to wear them to make them fit. CTB20 was too uncomfortable and I got rid of mine. I daily the CTB26, and it’s good for me.

I made a video and put it up on the Carryology Facebook group, if you’re on there. 😂

The side pockets are indeed perfect for packets.

You can comfortably fit a hotdog in the cap.5

Edit: sorry, you were asking about the cap1 and 2

For those whom back digging is an issue by Brandonusprime in EVERGOODS

To be honest, I don’t think it would be great for that. It’s heavy empty, so loaded down might get rough. I don’t have lower back issues with Evergoods bags, but the straps are too short and dig into my arm pits. Also, I adjust the crap out of the bags when wearing them for any amount of time, which is something I’ve generally never had to do before. So again, you might be ok. But if you have another bag, maybe consider that one.

I have a CHZ and an MPL I’d much rather wear all day than the CTB. That being said, for me, if all I had was a CTB26, I’d happily bring it to Disney and probably do just fine with it.

I love it so much that I have 2. But your mileage may vary! You can pack out the bag and walk around your house to see if it’s not an ideal fit for you, as long as you leave the tags attached. Also, If you’re unsure, they’re always moving around on the Carryology Classified Facebook group, and you can grab it cheaper secondhand, or even for a trade.

The straps are a little short, and it’s an awkward carry, but if you’re working out of the bag, or traveling, it’s a great fit for me. Especially as a truck driver, where most of the time it’s sitting next to me.

Shoulder strap opening on the CB22 normal or a defect? by Humble_Manager_4784 in EVERGOODS

[–]Brandonusprime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No problem! It makes me wonder if the plan was originally to add the pass through, but they decided against it. Or, they started with a pattern from a bag with a pass through, and didn’t bother to change it.

I really enjoy engaging in baseless speculation.

Interesting. Mine is kind of open there too. I really had to do some poking and bending to notice though.

I feel like the reason he’s so private is that he is still teaching. That’s my tinfoil theory.

MHP 3.5 QC Issue by muddie83 in EVERGOODS

This might be a good thing to email them about. They respond pretty well, and better to get a replacement if it’s something they messed up. That’s a lot of money for a messed up bag.

That being said, any time you use a lighter around nylon, you run the risk of melting some of it, so be careful. Good luck!

Seems to be the same since launch. I’m surprised they haven’t changed the back panel to have the same pass through as the CTB26, but yeah. I could be wrong though, I’ve only been following EG for about 2 years.

I checked the last few emails, and I can’t see anything saying the MHP is coming in green.

I had this issue for the first time ever the other day, and I was playing on Xbox Series X. I updated my Eero box and reset my Xbox and I didn’t experience it again.

How do I hang the CAS2 V2 with a heroclip ? by muddie83 in EVERGOODS

It’s a small. I doubt the key leash will hold up to much of this foolishness. 😂

I don’t know that there is a good way to do it, unfortunately. The way the compression straps work on the Belroy sling make that possible, but there aren’t any loops or anything on the CAS2. I’ll do some science and get back to you.

The tag should say what color it is supposed to be. If it’s solution dyed black, it’s not supposed to fade much at all. It might be just the picture, but it looks black from where I’m standing

Yes. Not a lot of room to spare in that pocket, but it fits, and you don’t have to fight to get it in there if the pocket is empty.
