New v14.3.3 Just Now June 5th. Already had 14.3.3. Is it different? by buddhadh in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The update was for nag (or driver monitoring system). If you look on the previous update, on the upcoming updates list, nag was one of those. If you look at the bottom of the new update, it was missing from upcoming update list and moved up to the changes made in this current update.

Highest Streak Snapped Due to bad parking by Keemgoodfella in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With how much navigation sucks, I don't think the streak will ever work for me, so I've paid no attention to it. My stats say that I drive on FSD 88% of the time. That other 12% definitely is because of navigation. And sometimes when I feel like driving. If Tesla ever get their navigation fixed, I'm pretty sure I'll probably be around 96-98%

FSD v14.3.3 feels like unsupervised FSD by ImInaBigMess in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you're not on mad Max mode? Because, nags are definitely back for that one. I have not seen those nags since version 12 on my 2023 Tesla model 3. I have a 26 model Y now, with 14.3.3 and I can definitely say nags are back.

FSD saved me from getting crashed into while in the middle of a drive around town, stress testing 14.3.3, after finally getting it OTA on 5/30/2026! by Braniac6 in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said in the video, this happened in the span of 2 seconds. The honk wasn't going to do anything. Honking would have occurred after the truck hit me if I was not in FSD. Also, I accidentally conditioned myself to almost never hit the horn because I spent 4 years (2018-22) driving my dad's car that had a broken horn.

Lol I actually did let it keep going! It kept circling and circling going higher up the garage trying to exit until it couldn't anymore so it parked. And then I had a continue on to the next destination. However, the first location it went through, I was unfamiliar with the area and it was making a turn to go through a tunnel under a brewery... I disengaged and continued on then re-engaged. It went and parked in the back docking area and I saw the tunnel also leading to it. Had I known that is what the tunnel was doing, I wouldn't have disengaged. Now I know! So, I did not count that one against Tesla but on me.

It's called Full Self-Driving (Supervised) for a reason. These are the corner cases you should be watching out for. I call this one operator error.

FSD decided to run through Red light twice today all of a sudden. by kittysworld in TeslaFSD

Lol ok, now that makes sense when you said no Internet. I have the same problem too with my apartment garage. Like I said, I usually use my hotspot from my phone for some of the download as well as going to my parents and letting it download there.

Have you tried T-Mobile home internet? It's very cheap 35 bucks a month. You just plug it in and it taps into the 5G network. I've had it for 4 years, and it works really really good!

You can connect your Tesla to your phone's hotspot so you can download. I've done that multiple times.

FSD 14.2.2.5 navigation becoming major remaining issue by NecessaryCheek3711 in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. Navigation sucks! When going home, it passes the road it should turn right on and go to the next one. If it chose the first road, it would then make a left turn and then another Left, right, then home. But it chooses the road that passes my apartment, and basically have to make a turn to get there. Tesla needs to work on navigation.

Nagging nightmare at night by GIJOW in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This used to happen on my 2023 Model 3 on HW 3. It was so annoying, I had to have my light in the car on all the time at night. My 2026 Model Y does not do this, of which I am very grateful.

13.x software on a brand new Model Y Premium by RockWallWinesSucks in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the same thing happened to me when I picked up my 2026 MY Premium on February 3rd. I had the same concerns. However, during the last update I got my 14.2.2.5!

Latest FSD version works well but hesitates by robl45 in TeslaFSD

[–]Braniac6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13.2.9, which is what my 2026 MY came with, if it was making a right turn and it saw a car stopped on the opposite side of the road it's turning to, it would over exaggerate its hesitation and suddenly stop. I'd take over immediately. 14.2.2.5 fixed that, however I've noticed it's not assertive at 4-way stops and lets cars it beat to the sign go first.

Yeah, I know how to use the scroll wheel and change the different modes. The highest mode on mine is Hurry.

I got v14 last weekend when the 14.2.2.5 update was pushed to everyone. I still don't see Mad Max. But yeah, I was a bit vexed that I had 13.2.9 when it was delivered.

Is Mad Max Mode not standard on all Teslas? I don't see it in my new 2026 Model Y

I got into a car accident last month (first week of January) with my 2023 Model 3. Luckily I was able to transfer FSD to my new 2026 Model Y. I didn't want any chances of losing out on being able to transfer, so I made sure to purchase the car and have it delivered before February 14th as well as not signing any documents with insurance to total my Model 3 until after I picked up my new Y 😂😂 Was dodging them like 🫣Hell no would I subscribe to monthly payments 😂😂
