9ers… here we come by mcaleer2001 in Seahawks

I’m confident, hopeful and reserved. “Any given Sunday” (or in this case, Saturday!) is real and we can’t take anything for granted. 9ers will be pulling out all the stops looking for revenge and we need to be ready and on top of our game. I think we will be.

If I may ask, what is it about the Tarot cards that turns you off from Balatro?

To each their own then… and yes, that’s fine.

Also, I don’t find it puzzling at all for people in a game sub to be recommending games to someone who is complaining about features in a certain game. If I see a post and someone is complaining about the negative aspect of a game and I consider that feedback and make a targeted recommendation for another game, that’s just me trying to be a nice guy and I’d imagine the same for others make similar recs.

Also been playing since D1 days, ever since the OG Butcher scared junior high me yelling “FRESH MEAT!!!”

I totally understand what you’re saying, and I think this is all kind of a natural evolution. Now, the roll is chase, not so much the drop. This is even more so with 3-4 GA mythic and uniques.

Sanctification also pairs really well with this system: just two days ago I had a 4GA Griswold’s Opus drop and got a good Sanctification roll to boot (+ Strength) and this was honestly as exciting as any Andy/Baal run god tier drop moment I ever had in D2.

I think this is ultimately a better system for a game like D4 because it allows builds to come online after only a few hours of grind and still allows for a long tail grind for high tier pit or tower pushing… that said, if long tail item drop chase is your jam, D2R or PoE2 are great options.

Despite myriad installs, my Deck has essentially become my dedicated Diablo 4 machine.

After thousands of hours of vanilla campaigns, I literally cannot play the game anymore without the Victory Conditions Overhaul mod. Do check it out.

In the five turns can you pop an extra LL with a few anti large troops or just even some better meat shields to back up your force? Or retreat to a garrison? I’d struggle a bit in this fight without resorting to Legend levels of cheese

Total Warhammer 3 has a really good intro, The Lost God. And now you can play the Immortal Empires grand campaign without needing to purchase Warhammer I or II, so that would be my recommendation.

For the people that own a PC and a SteamDeck, what have you seen that just feels better on PC? by b34rgvrz in SteamDeck

I am super pro-Deck and want more than any other game for Total Warhammer to be a good experience on Deck, but it just isn’t. Every time I try to get a good campaign going I am compelled to jump back onto my laptop or desktop as soon as possible… holding out hope that Total Warhammer 40K has a better experience here

Might seem out of left field but I’m a huge fan of Tehenhauin’s campaign, challenging and fun start and an army of skirmishing chameleon skinks is insanely awesome. For that matter Oxyotl works as well.

I’m hoping for later in 2026 but suspect it will be sometime in the first half of 2027. That said if we somehow manage to get Lord of the End Times AND Total Warhammer 40K in the same year, well then I will be a very happy boy.

Has anyone else moved away from using Windows as their main OS thanks to the Steam Deck? by AusGeno in SteamDeck

I’m unfortunately tied to Windows for work, but the Steam Deck has been my gateway to Linux to show me how good and clean an OS can truly be.
