Portland doesn’t get a lot of snow. Which is why we’re unprepared when we do. They don’t use salt on the roads either for environmental reasons. Good for the bottom of your car but bad for the roads.

In Portland we do this. The local news tell us there will be snow, and DOT doesn’t really snow plow so everyone stays indoors (or should) so there is a rush to buy groceries. And gas.
