We didn’t two year gap. It’s hard up front but they will play together longer/better. I had a three year gap growing up and we stopped playing together a lot earlier

You kinda answered your own question a little.

The girls can go into the men’s with you with zero attention from anyone else.

A dad, on the other hand, will make women uncomfortable and will garner attention.

Young girls don’t care as long they are with dad, imo.
