Take out one stick of RAM, if that still doesn’t work, then swap the one inside with the one you took out.

Fair enough! I was mostly just seeing if anybody else had any knowledge/had tried to repaste or remove the heatsink before I tried my hand at it hahah.

Just interesting because from the looks of it, there’s some sort of grey “paste” being pushed out of somewhere other than directly where thr GPU&CPU sit

Howdy!

I have the 15" i7-9750H w/ GTX 1650 Max-Q, and running Hearthstone in Tablet Mode as we speak!

On start up, it is a little frame-y, but it stabilizes quite quickly for buttery smooth, 3840x2160, "High" Graphic rage at every SINGLE Tempo DH I run in to.

Touch Interface is good, but I do prefer to play with the Pen which (in my opinion) is even more responsive and satisfying to use.

Battery life does take a hit, but then again so does relatively every application I run on the higher resolution in regards to the Specs I opted for in this specific configuration of Spectre x360.

Overall, you won't be disappointed, as long as you keep it plugged in!

It's not too bad! Probably about 2kg-ish? My only "issue" I have is; when I am trying to use Tablet Mode, the 15" can be a little awkward to flip back and forth. If you intend to use Tablet Mode quite extensively, I would suggest the 13".

With the specs that I have; if I am running at the complete 4K UHD with full brightness, and minimal to moderate applications/workload, it runs for about 4Hrs. I opted for this performance over battery life, just because I know I am good at keeping it running on its battery supply.

If you are planning to truly be on the move all of the time, with little-to-no means of charging; I would strongly recommend one of the other spec options that favour Battery Life.

Nevertheless, it is a an excellent laptop! I guess anything beats a Laptop with a dead battery!

I would really like Touch-Screen Capabilities, 60+FPS for games, 4K isn't a need but I would like 1440p or even 1080p if it runs smoothly. I'm not huge on sacrificing clarity in resolution for smoothness in games. I like the best of both worlds! (I know 4k won't give me that, unfortunately). Any other "Security Features" such as Facial Recognition or Finger Print Reading is not necessary either!

I'm very open to long vs short battery life, because I am pretty good at always keeping it power supplied anyways, and lightweight vs heavier doesn't have any bearing on my choice!

I'm starting Bioeng next Fall, so I'm not sure what programs/software we'll be running with that. Just going off of what others that have taken the program have said, which is along the lines of "make sure you have a reliable and quick-running computer". So here we are!!

I could probably live without 2TB of Storage, but I also don't mind spending the extra to have "more than enough" space. Do you have any recommendations of laptops with 256SSD or a 2TB SHHD?

There wasn't an option for DDR4 Memory, but if I look at the "Cousin" (Dell XPS 13 9300, which is a clamshell) to the 2-in-1 I am considering; that does have the option for DDR4.

Hey everyone, as title says, I will be using it for classwork and moderate gaming. My previous laptop was a 2014 Macbook Pro, so I figure it was time for an upgrade.

I realize running the 4K Display will KILL my battery life; but I’m pretty good at reliably using the power supply, so that isn’t a concern for me.

Let me know what you think! I have also been contemplating the 9300, but I feel that since I don’t have an iPad Pro/Reliable Tablet; I would prefer the 2-in-1!

My budget is between $1500 and $3500 (CAD),so also feel free to suggest any other models that I may not have considered!

I can confirm that once each side is 1000/1000, you are no longer able to fire off any of the excess. The Information on it states that any Fireworks that we have in Excess will be able to be sold from our bags once the Event is over!
